This opaqueness of the deep colors are not deep enough but besides that I think it’s an amazing at home kit that will save you tons of money if you like changing your polish every week or two. I do reccomend making sure no gel polish is dried on the skin because it will peel off the nail color eventually. The glitters surprisingly out perform the darker colors; one coat did the job for my nail. The darker colors I do 2 coats because I do not want to keep building to reach maximum opaqueness.

I have been a nail tech for ten years now and decided to try something different after finally getting tired of fighting with my old “professional” brand. I purchased this product with my own money and am not being compensated in any way for my review. That being said I am seriously impressed with the beetles line of gel polishes! I purchased several of their different sets this last week and have been extremely happy with everything I have tried so far. Everything came in pristine condition, safely packed in a beautiful box with detailed instructions on how to use the product as well as troubleshooting tips. There is a nice variety here between cream, glitter and jelly options and the wide variety of colors. All of the polishes applied like a dream. I put two coats of color on all of the swatches but there were a couple of the cream pastels that I could have gotten away with only one coat. Even the chunky glitters went on smoothly and required minimal fuss to get the glitters even. This set also comes with a base coat, glossy top coat and a matte top coat all of which were top notch products as well! The base coat seems to do its job and the gloss top coat went on smoothly, leveled itself out well and is nice and shiny. The real star of the show for me was the matte top coat! This is the first one I found that goes on and cures with no streaking! If you’re on the fence or confused about the many options of gel polishes available here on Amazon, just stop looking and buy this one! You won’t be disappointed! I will update my review with how well the polish wears and how long it lasts after I have done a set of nails with them.

 These are some BEAUTIFUL colors! They brush on extremely well. They are on the thicker side of consistency and are mostly one coat colors! There is not much of a smell and they cure very well! I will definitely be ordering more colors from this seller!!

 I adore this gel polish! This set has lasted 2 weeks with no signs of chipping or peeling ! I have also used other colors and no problems came of it. I do apply the gel over acrylic/polygel – not my natural nails. Some people have very oily nail beds so certain gels don’t adhere well. I can’t speak to that since I’ve not applied it to my natural nail. The colors are extremely pretty – I hope to get another set of colors in the future. I will also post more photos of other colors when I wear new sets!
Update 2021: I just wanted to come back and say I’ve purchased 2 other entire sets of this polish. I still have had zero peeling issues with any single bottle of the entire 3 sets. I believe this is in the prep and application. It deserves your purchase. There’s a reason so many people have rated this. & even just a year ago it wasn’t even this popular. That’s how much they have grown as a company. They have always had excellent customer care as well.

I was excited to receive this box and I even did a review unboxing it. But the product is TRASH. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I have been doing nails for 2 yrs now and have never had a gel polish peel off like this. This is not the only nail doing this they all are. Beetles can you explain this? I tried several colors and they all did the same.

OK let’s talk about this gel color,when I got this I was a little disappointed because the pink color was every where😔. No problems I got a replacement next day. Let me star talk about the color very vibrant and long lasting if you apply the right way.
So, vamos hablar de estos hermosos semi permanente colors. Cuando recivi mi paquete me desilucione port q el color rosado estaba regado everywhere. Pero me los remplasaron. Value for your money, larga duracion is los aplicas de la manera correcta. El brillo top cop es muy duradero llevo 3 semanas y brilla casino igual q el primer dia. Los recomiendo much. Ohh y el matte top cop sella muy bien.🙂

These colors are beautiful! They do chip faster than the other brand of gel polish that I use. But overall very pretty & somewhat durable.

Great for at home use! Like most new polishes I’m still getting used to the consistency and application but I’m very happy! I prep my nails by pushing back my cuticles and washing my hands and wiping my nails with alcohol and then do one good layer of base, two thin layers of color and a top coat. I use a small UV light I bought on amazon between each coat and have had no issues. The pic is of day 4, and besides my nails growing out a little the polish looks great! I also must mention I have two dogs and two toddlers I take care of and it is still looking good. And I love the matte top coat option (which is what I have on) but I did get a little on the side of my finger and when I put it under the light I felt a quick burn feeling. But only where it was on my skin, but it didn’t harm me at all. But just FYI.
