I purchased the pro nanosteam this week. I was highly concerned because it smelled like plastic. However, I just heard back from Beauty Imports. They told that the unit is completely BPA Free and to simply wipe down the unit with distilled water or water and vinegar to get the smell out from the manufacturing process. The smell is now gone and I feel much more comfortable using it. I looked all over the a unit that you could put essential oil into it so I really love this feature. The steam comes out at a good angle and the there is a good amount of it too! I am using it to clear my sinuses with an added bonus of cleansing my skin. It is a good product!

For Australian buyers: this doesn’t support dual voltage. You will need on top of a plug adapter, a step down transformer.
Us uses 110 v, Australia uses 220v. Some appliances ( like hair dryers, straighteners and the ones you are likely to travel with) are built with dual voltage, which means it can handle both.
Look out for this : 110v-220v and you ll only need a plug.
If you can only see: 110 v you ll need a plug and a transformer ( about $50 up to 500 watts. This particular machine uses 300 watts of power).
The reason for my 3 stars: the product is great but I wished these information were clearly stated. For first time buyers It is easy to think it’s all adapted for Australia (since you’re buying it from Amazon Australia)

I am 28 years old and had troubled skin my whole life! This facial steamer is a game changer for me. I never knew my pores could be so small lol Makes my skin look instantly better after use and if I have an active breakout it’s such a great way to help the acne without having to get aggressive! Absolutely obsessed with this thing!

Purchased this for my wife as a Christmas present. Purchased from Amazon.com.au and didn’t realise you needed a stepdown transformer! No warning in the description, no label on the box, absolutely nothing to advise a customer prior to purchase.

Never write reviews but I think this one deserves a review. This product is great especially if you are a busy person looking to get rid of the tiredness showing on your face and if you have sinus and cold problems. It does what they claim. The only “con” is that the print on the manual is too small making it difficult to read for people with eye problems. It needs a little more work. Otherwise, great product.

I absolutely ❤️ love this steamer. It didn’t have a smell as other reviews I added just a little tea tree oil in the basket and it was amazing. My 1 year old sat with me and she enjoyed it too. The pressure is perfect and it looks sooo pretty. The headband is a bonus and the tools to extract blackheads make the monies spent well worth it. I have already recommended it to friends.

I decided to go with this product even though it was slightly higher in price than a few other machines. It’s definitely worth it. Not only is it easy to use and setup (10 minutes from Unboxing to first use) its also fast acting. I love the compartment where I can add essential oil, flowers or fruit…feels like a real spa experience at home.

1- the extractor tools are pool quality and will rust soon.
2- the head band does not Velcro on for easy application. You must put your head through it. Not convenient when applying creams and masks to face.
3- the “cold” air is not cold. Cold air is to close pores after the cleansing process. The air does not get cold enough.
4- the direction of the steam is awkward. If you are sitting at a table, you must lean your shoulder forward and downward to allow the steam to hit your face. Otherwise, it’s just directed at your chest and it is not powerful enough to rise towards your face.
5- there is a plastic suffocating smell that comes out with the steam. I put 1-2 drops of tea tree oil in the aromatherapy basket which helped a little bit there is still an element of plastic clouding the air after 4 uses.
6- I’ve had this steamer for 8 days and have used it 4 times. I’ve used distilled water only. I put 1-2 drops of tea tree oil in the aromatherapy basket 2 out of the 4 times. I completely empty the water from the tank after each use. After the 3rd use, I noticed the plastic on the water basin cap was cracking the way old paint cracks off of wood. I decided to give it more time and just deal with it. The very next use, use number 4, I simply opened the door to the water basin and the plastic tab on the door broke clear off. Now, I would have to use a tool to pry the door open each time I want to use it.
After much thought, I’ve decided this steamer is poor quality despite the higher price point. I’m also really disappointed at all the positive reviews as I thoroughly researched many steamers and came to the conclusion by reviews that this was the best choice. It was not.

I love this product. Very easy to use and good quality. Just follow the manual for optimum use- Always use distilled water to prevent calcium build up. I love that you could incorporate essential oils for your fascial regimen and as a humidifier/scent diffuser. It works well as diffuser with hot steam setting.
