This is a nice dust extractor!
Its well made and the quality is evident when you feel the weight and see the illuminated control buttons.
I bought a 5 in 1 nail machine first but it was too high and I found it uncomfortable to use. It also broke after 3 days.
Amazon was amazing and refunded all my payment because the other company wasn’t willing to replace my unit.
I’m a nail Technician so I must be comfortably positioned as I work.
This dust catcher has a nice tapered edge to rest my wrist on and it has powerful suction.
The noise is what Id expect for a good fan. It has speeds and its powerful enough to pull in alot of dust.
Its great to be able to clear the dust from the filter between clients.
All in all a very good purchase at a reasonable price

I love that it all just fits together nicely and is 2 in 1 and I don’t need to have 2 separate items. Packaged really nicely! The dust collector has a really nice and sleek look to it, surprisingly very lightweight. The hand piece is lightweight as well but sturdy. I will say though, that when working be mindful of the buttons. They are pretty sensitive to the touch, a light bump can easily turn it off or mess up your current settings. It also comes with 5 sanding bands in various grits as well as 5 cuticle bits and a mandrel for the sanding bands.
Filing was very nice, I used it to file down hard gel nails it filed them down very nicely and didn’t really skip at all even on the lower settings. Hand piece runs nice and quiet, the only noise you really get is from the fan when you are running it at either medium/high speed. Filter caught all the dust and was easy to clean it out before storing. I wrapped it in some of the paper towels I work on and just lightly patted the back of the filter to knock the dust out of it.
Mine did take almost 2 weeks to ship, but overall it was definitely worth the waiting!

 I just purchased this dust collector and got a chance to use it today. It worked great. The high speed is a little loud but not that bad. I love it!

This dust collector/drill is incredible. I’m a certified nail technician and I didn’t expect this device to be so professional. I already had a melody Susie drill (obsessed) and so I bought this dust collector knowing the brand is quality but suction is generally a let down on items (including vacuums), so I wasn’t expecting much. It’s also nice to have a back up drill I suppose. Collects dust as well as a $500 built in collector. And this goes on sale often so I got it for a fantastic price. Happy!

 The dust collector works perfect ! Has two speeds one speed which more quiet and slower then the other. I like the faster speed for fill ins and drill work. I use the slower speed for filing nails. The drill isn’t exactly quiet but I’ve had noisier dust collectors. Overall a good investment and one of the better dust collectors to purchase on amazon.

For someone that’s mobile or for beginners that can’t afford expensive name brands this is a good buy. The drill is amazing. I prefer this to my portable drill. The fan has decent suction. It’s more quiet compared to other dust collectors and the drill isn’t too loud. It has a lock for the bits. The only downside is the buttons are sensitive and I’m short with big chest size so my boing boings keep touching the buttons and changing speed or turning it off. I recommend turning it sideways to prevent that from happening.

This is my second dust collector purchase.
– The noise level is very manageable and the type of noise is MUCH more manageable than my previous hit and miss.
– It will take up a considerable amount of desk space, so be mindful about multitasking with other equipment.
– This item did not catch ALL the dust, but it caught the bulk of it.
– I think the design is a little flawed; the buttons are very sensitive and I found the unit continuously turned off during filing because my arms (arching over the product) would brush against the buttons. I ended up turning it around so the buttons were facing away from me. (This is one of the reasons it did not catch all the dust.)
– Very easy to stack and store inside its packaging.
– This unit was more powerful than the cheaper unit I previously purchased. I don’t like equating cost to efficiency, but that is how it played out.

Worth every penny invested. Now that I have no choice but to do my gel nails at home and I’d like to complete my set to make it easy and convenient for me to do it myself (no choice because of our public health situation). I’m very pleased. I read the reviews of various purchasers and decided to get this. Worth every penny. Quality and performance was grade A. Highly recommended. My kit investment is complete. I may have spent about $600 in total for me to self start but this is just 4 visits for my nails and toes in my salon and my savings are evident in the long run. And to add, I have asthma and it didn’t bother me nor trigger anything in my health. Happy nail crafting:))
I’m disappointed that I didn’t get the free kits (3 kits on page 4 of their ad at amazon.ca) only to be informed by the company that the promo is only valid to USA (amazon.com). Misleading info and should be removed from the advertisement and since it happened, company should compensate by sending the items anyway then fix the ad. But they didn’t, very frustrating part.
And after I’ve used first time, I wipe and clean the machine and the logo was erased. The equipment performance wasn’t affected but just consider me OCD but I don’t like that it looked old and worn out after first use. I requested for a replacement and let’s see what they’ll say again.
For the last 2 concerns, I gave them 4 stars.

I love this product, its not too loud and it sucks everything right up!
The only problem I had was with the free products. When I put everything in my cart it was not discounting the free products off therefore I did not get it. I tried to contact amazon about it and they have not replied yet. I would give this a 5 stars if I would’ve been able to get the free products, but the product itself is great!

 I really liked this at first. It worked great the first two times I used it. My only complaint then was the power button is insanely touchy but I solved that by turning the unit to the side so my hand wasn’t bumping the power button. After the second use, I removed the filter and tapped out the dust collector into the trash and put it back. I did not touch anything else and the filter is not bent and the filter and unit are not full of dust. I went to use it for the 3rd time today, but it is not working hardly at all. I can only get it to turn on by holding down the power button. The two speed buttons the unit has do not work at all (see video) and the unit is running so slow that it is not collecting dust. It is now useless

I recently bought the Melody Susie 2 in 1 e-file + dust collector on a recommendation after doing much research and hearing good things (I’ve been diy dipping my nails since August).
I’d been so excited to try this e-file because I’d heard great things about the quality, but I ran into some things that have really bothered me about it. On only my 2nd use, there was a noticeable “wobble” when I turned the drill on. Also, no matter what bit I use or what speed, the e-file is so uncomfortable, I can feel the harsh vibration all the way down to my nail beds. The direction didn’t fix this. I’ve practiced on it so much and tried learning so much but nothing has been able to fix this for me.
Recently I heard from a professional that the “wobble” and the discomfort was coming from a faulty internal issue. I thought it was just me, which is why I practiced on it so much! I don’t know if this is a known issue with this particular model, or if I received a bad one. But my nail beds are sore (I never filed directly on them) and I’m super disappointed. 😞 The dust collector portion of the device seems to work pretty well though.
*EDITED* Just wanted to say that I reached out to the seller/manufacturer and their customer service is really great. They assisted me with the problem and sent me a replacement for my faulty machine. Really appreciate this.

Dust collector not acetone safe. It’s dull and scratchy in the area where the acetone fell. A little disappointed in that since acetone is a very common item when doing nails.. Also, I find the buttons to be in a bad spot. I’m always turning the dust collector off. I have to turn the dust collector to the side in order to avoid this problem. It’s easy to clean and does a fairly good job at collecting dust particles.

I usually don’t expect much from these inexpensive nail dust vents, but this one is different. It works almost as well as my $1200 professional Nova-Flair machine! You do have to empty the filter after every other set of nails, but for an inexpensive option I highly recommend.
