I’m using my Dell Precision 5540 laptop (15.6″) with a Dell U3417W monitor (34″ 3840×1440) in a 2-screen configuration, and had been using an old Dell laptop stand which took up huge desktop space, and couldn’t raise my laptop screen as high as I wanted it. I bought this stand because of the impressive height adjustability, and boy does it not disappoint. I could raise my laptop screen probably 12″ higher than shown here, if I wanted to. And this thing is rock solid. There are no locks; a given configuration is held in place by the mere friction of the hinges, and you need to apply considerable force to adjust it (in a satisfying, comforting sense; not an annoying, excessive sense). The build quality of this thing far surpasses my expectations. I would give this thing as a Christmas gift.

The stand has been great for use with my personal gaming laptop which is almost 17″ and beefy, as well as my work laptop which is very slim and 14″. The adjustment to being high enough to stand in front of when on the desk us great! The top plate supporting the laptop is very stiff out-of-the-box, so you need to remove the laptop to adjust it, but perhaps that will loosen over time. The stand is solid metal, so though it folds up nicely, I would never purposefully travel with it.

Le négatif : c’est assez pesant.. puisque c’est en métal..donc pas le plus idéal si tu le transportes souvent…mais je le transporte pareil, pour moi la stabilité de mon portable en tapant est ce qui est le plus important. Quand j’enseigne, même avec le tapotement énergique pendant une mise en commun et des câbles HDMI des projecteurs de classe qui tirent dessus ça tient bon. Plusieurs positions/hauteur appropriés, il glisse très peu, c’est vraiment très solide. Le prix élevé se traduit en grande qualité ici.

I have been using this laptop stand to create a standing desk at my kitchen counter, and it has served this function perfectly. It allows the bottom of my laptop to be lifted to a max height of approximately 13 inches from the countertop. It is very attractive and has a small footprint, so I leave it out pretty much all the time. I was worried that I might not be able to use the keyboard easily due to the lip that keeps my laptop in place, and due to the pressure that typing places on the adjustable height mechanism, but I have been able to type very comfortably with no problems at all. The customer service for this product is also outstanding. A++!

This stand is perfect for teaching and doing work with my MacBook Pro! It is adjustable for sitting or standing (like a podium) at my dining room table or any height in between. It is sturdy, and the best part is that its design allows you to angle the stand so that, combined with the way you angle your laptop, whether sitting or standing you can keep the top of the laptop screen at eye level (best for reducing eye and next strain) while also keeping the keyboard low enough (best typing position so that you do not cause shoulder or neck pain). Plus, this company is a small family business – even received a personal note with the product.

its a well designed product, nice finish, good construction, its a little hard to adjust the positions but the up side is that this makes it very sturdy so im not worried that the stand will fold or bend in any direction, wherever position i placed it it will stay like this forever, since i do a lot of typesetting letters its a very good add on to my office, and lately when everything is being done remotely via video calls i need it more than even to give presentations etc. it was so good that i bought another one for a friend as a holiday gift, i hope he will like it 🙂

Bought and returned. It is heavy. Bulky. Blocks out people sitting around you. AND it was so incredibly hard to pull apart and open it up. Then impossible to close it. I cant believe others didn’t have this problem, but maybe they don’t need to open it up and put it down. Maybe they want something they can open up, walk away, and come back with it in the same position, because it is solid, stable and imposing. Too much work. Many others to choose from. Company was professional taking my return and issuing a refund. I would buy from them again. I think they are a small family business and these days Amazon is their main street, so at least I can choose to deal with remains of ‘independents’. But its made for Hercules.

Great product! I have a huge gaming laptop and I was really concerned about buying one of these because so often you see people posting products that have conflicting weight limits. (Sometimes I cringe buying stuff on Amazon because so much of it is garbage, and it pains me when I accidentally buy something of poor quality because it—along with everybody else who bought one—will end up in a landfill. We’ve only got one planet folks!) However, this stand really blew me away. So much so that I’m writing a review, which I don’t often do. This thing came in a nice box with a hand-written thank you card, thank you Amy. 🙂
Anyhoo, this thing is super sturdy. I really had to pull on it to get it into the position I wanted, which was exactly the firmness I wanted. Super pleased. Thank you for creating a quality product that will last a lifetime.

This is the best Christmas present ever! It was delivered in less than 24 hours. Nothing to assemble, just unpack and use. I can now type and look at the screen of my Lenovo laptop without bending over and getting pains in my back. An amazing laptop stand. It tilts and rises just as I need. The laptop does not slide to the sides and it does not heat up either. The concerns I had about it before it’s arrival are all gone. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

As a stand for the laptop, meaning you’ll stand up the laptop to use with a keyboard and mouse, this is very sturdy and has all sorts of height and angle options. I can’t see a scenario where you wouldn’t be able to get the screen to a comfortable eye level. But as a laptop stand for better ergonomics as a laptop this does not do a very good job at all. Typing is unfortunately hindered by the large prongs to hold the laptop from slipping and the floating design of the stand makes the laptop wobble with every keystroke.
Where this laptop stand really shines though is raising the laptop to eye-level when standing. As a remote worker I am in a lot of meetings using laptop camera. I like to stand for these meetings. My previous stand would raise to 10” while the laptop was flat so I’d have to push the screen way back in order to see the camera and it would appear that I was literally looking down my nose at my team. Now the camera is right at eye level to me when I stand and the stand is so sturdy that I have no fears at all about it shaking. For virtual meetings this is the laptop stand you should get without hesitation.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase as it satisfied the need to raise the laptop to eye level wether sitting or standing and that’s what I wanted. If you’re just trying to put your hands on the laptop at a more ergonomic angle while sitting at a desk, you should probably look at other options.
