I purchased this to try the saying that if you sit one over a pot it won’t boil over. Tried it. It seems to work. But that aside, this is literally a terrific wooden spoon. I love it. The bowl is the perfect size. It’s light weight but very sturdy. I’m very happy with the purchase. Having said all of that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

I love that this is a little bit thicker than most wooden spoons. Very strong and sturdy, this is my favorite now! Impressed with the quality, definitely worth the price.

I bought this in order to replace my old wooden spoon from my grandmother that finally broke. So far it has sustained constant use and I haven’t had any problems with chipping like other wooden spoons I’ve bought. This one has passed my tests in the kitchen and I will soon be buying and gifting these!

Thought this wooden spoon was going to be a great deal for $5. It broke into 3 pieces after being used maybe 3 times. You can see the pieces have a clean separation from one another. I definitely would not suggest this at any price.

I prefer wooden utensils. Was looking for a pasta spoon. This works ok for that purpose. Would prefer a more scoop shape/deeper bowl but otherwise, quality is decent.

I’m sorely disappointed in this item, and even more upset that I cannot return it to Amazon.
I bought one of these many years ago and it was of great quality. This not only feels crudely assembled, but the underside of the spoon is rough and splintered.
I’d have to use several grades of sandpaper to smooth the spoon to usefulness.
Please do not lose your money to this KitchenAid spoon!

I bought this spoon in Dec. On Feb 7, this is what happened after I had made stew. Poor quality in my book when a wooden spoon can’t last two months. I’ve had wooden spoons that lasted 20 years. They really need to send me a new one or refund me, but I missed the window of return. Who would have known that the spoon would be this poorly made?
