Have had this for a couple of months now and only use it in a non stick pan turning eggs and such. The whole edge along the tip looks rough and delaminated. I am sure small pieces are getting in the food. Says Kitchenaid on the handle but maybe counterfeit?
In any case this was a very expensive item for a plastic turner and I hoped the quality would be the same. You don’t always get what you paid for and in this case I say don’t buy under any circumstances.

The main purpose for a turner like this for me is to flip eggs in the pan. I have 5 turners that will not slide under an egg even though I cover it with PAM. The only one that will slide under the egg is an old Kithen Aid turner I have had for over 10 years. I had hoped this would be another, but it isn’t. The egg rolls up on the turner and I usually break the egg.
If you are flipping burgers or pancakes or anything other than an egg, it will probably work great. But it does not meet my specific purpose.

I purchased KitchenAid because I thought it was a quality product, but it is made in China.

Robusto e bem acabado

Spatula didn’t hold up for even one use. Turning eggs caused it to melt on turning edge. Now there is no longer an edge to get under things.

Buen utensilio de cocina, sin embargo al 2o uso ya sé comenzó a descara pelar un poco la espátula.

You can’t go wrong with products from KitchenAid. I was searching for a spatula to use with my non-stick cookware and was quick to choose this one when I saw the brand. I was not disappointed as the spatula is sturdy and well made. The end is not flexible which is a good thing, in my mind. I had another rubber spatula with a flexible end and it was nearly impossible to stir food in the skillet. This spatula cleans easily and is an asset in my drawer of cooking utensils.

I was hoping a brand name like KitchenAid would provide me with a turner that would not flake when used with my nonstick cookware. Unfortunately, after only about 3 uses, it’s already starting to show wear! Very disappointing.

Returned it after it melted after just two uses. I should’ve listened like many other reviews mentioned. I thought I’d give it a chance since it’s KitchenAid and Amazon Choice. Not sure if I got a counterfeit one or the quality of KitchenAid has changed.

The plastic component melts very easily. I have only used it three times, on an electronic cooktop, not even cooking on an open flame!
Not even as durable as a 0.99 dollar turner from IKEA.

Las puntas de la espátula son demasiado rÃgidas y eso dificulta su adaptabilidad en los bordes del satén. Dificulta despegar el alimento adherido en los bordes del satén!

this is what i thought/hoped it would be. it’s what i want out of a simple cheap plastic turner. perfect for eggs. if i could change two things, i’d get rid of the metal spacer and endcap (possible point of failure/rust), and give it a little more flex (is a little stiff for my taste). but, after a few uses, it’s good for what it is imo. would buy again assuming it lasts a while.
will update this review if/when anything changes, but so far this seems to be a decent standard plastic turner.
