These little huggers come in so handy. My one issue…if I do keep an onion in one, that’s it. The hugger retains that onion scent and no matter what I do I cannot get rid of that onion scent held within that hugger. So, the larger one is my onion hugger, period. The others I find work well on so many fruits and veggies🍋🍊🥒🥝🧅🍠🍎…

This is the second set of the huggers I’ve purchased. I’ve been using them as lids for pet food cans and I love them! I’m able to get a sort of vacuum seal with these lids by pushing out a bit of air before I seal the lid, and it seems to keep the food fresher than the regular snap-on lids. I purchased another set so that I wasn’t always having to wash my current ones. I got the set with the small yellow hugger for my mom, as it was advertised it would work with cut bananas. (She frequently eats 1/2 of a banana each day.). When I opened the set of huggers I found that the yellow one is a bit too big to be used for the cut end of the banana. So I took one star off for that. The lids themselves are a bit tricky to wash due to their shape, but can go into the dishwasher which is great. Overall, I’m really happy with these, given how I use them. (I still haven’t tried them on cut fruits and veggies yet, so can’t speak to how well they do with those.)

No the best one to buy. It doesn’t really hug the fruits it just sits there and often falls off.

I read a review saying that somebody used this on an apple and it turned brown right away. This apple has been in the fridge for a week. It is crispy and hardly turned color at all. This is the second time I’ve used it on half of an apple and it worked beautifully. They look extremely well-made. Also easy to clean in the dishwasher.

These are very handy.
They fit a steel can cover (beans/peas/etc so I’ve used them on open cans that will be used so soon that they don’t need to be stored in a proper container.
Excellent for half an onion or Apple

I returned this product because it was very difficult to use. I bought it with the hope that I would be able to cover fruits and vegetables, but alas the cover is very difficult to put around a piece of fruit or a vegetable without bruising or totally smooshing it. It was even hard to get around a hard vegetables like beets. I don’t recommend this product.

Sometimes these can be a little tricky to put on the avocado. Just depends on the avocado size. I feel like the large one is excessively large even for big avocados. It doesn’t 100% prevent browning but then again that doesn’t totally bother me since I eat the other half usually the next day. I do like that I’m not using plastic wrap every time now to wrap my avocado. I’ve thrown them in the dishwasher multiple times and they have survived If you have an avocado that’s a little bigger than the small one but it’s definitely smaller than the big one It can be a tight fit to put it on using the little one. But it seems to do the best that way.

I used them once. Then I found the garbage. They suggest using for avacado?! No. Swished them. Lemons? Easier to just throw in a glass container or tupperware.

Ayuda mucho para conservar los aguacates. Altamente sorprendente. Queda perfecto y no permite que se oxiden. Son de dos medidas, para grandes y medianos.
Vale la pena!

If whatever you are trying to save is the exact size, it is easy. However, trying to get the hugger on so that it is truly covering is a bit of a struggle. Once it is on, it is great…but that struggle to get it on (and you want it to be snug), makes it a bit awkward. I really liked the simplicity of it and that it took advantage of the fruit/vegetables natural skin. But it is not quite what I had hoped.

I use the lighter green Hoan Silicone Food Huggers to cover my dachshund’s Can of prescription food. She eats one can a day, 1/3 of a can at a time. Do, she finishes a whole can but in 1/3 can portions. I higher recommend it! So far, I have not found a use for the other 3 food huggers but I am sure I will.
