To begin with, I spent awhile getting the Kitchen Aid sticker off of the new cutting board. It had a plastic over wrap so why not just place the sticker on the wrap? I had to use adhesive remover directly on the board, which is ridiculous considering it’s a cutting board for food. Otherwise nice product.

Echoing what all the other negative reviews have said:
1) Some idiot in their manufacturing department put a paper sticker on the board which tears so easily. You couldn’t have put in a paper slip or put the sticker on the plastic?
2) The board mars easily. I used a knife, you know, the things you’re going to be using on this board, to cut the plastic, and it left a gouge along where I cut. I know cutting boards will get cut marks, but this mark was cut for a relatively low amount of pressure.
3) The nonstick feet seem to work well enough on my granite countertops. It’s not completely non-slip, but I don’t feel like it’s going to slide away.
My biggest complaint though is that the cut surface is completely smooth. There’s no texture, nothing but flat smooth plastic. The first thing I cut on it was raw chicken which was continually sliding away from my knife. After fumbling through dicing up the chicken breast I washed it and decided to put a ton of scores in the board to see if that helps with sliding in the future. I bought two of these without reading the reviews, one will definitely get sent back. The first one I’m sure I damaged too much to get a refund on though.

Love love love these. No holes for food to drop through. I bought a whole set. The largest size also fits nicely in the dishwasher.

No: This is not “non slip”, and not flat anyway. I was really excited to get this with those large “non slip feet” on the entire end of the board. As large as they are, it would still slip on my laminate counter. When I looked at the edge I could clearly see that it board was not flat, but the curve favored the rubber ends and they still did not hold it in place. I liked the board so I put on 4 – 1″ diameter “Gorilla brand” non slip rubber feet. One came off in the washer but I was able to stick it back on. With the rubber round feet it makes a nice cutting board. I do have another pair of matching boards that do not move on this very same surface, but that manufacturer did not have the larger size so I tried this one. It is a very good price so I gave it two stars.

Used the board ONCE to cut watermelon. Area is permanently stained pink/red and won’t come off, and the knife marks are deeply etched into the plastic board.

I bought 4 Kitchen Aid cutting boards from Costco years ago, and they have been excellent. One is deteriorating due to heavy use and hot dishwasher temps (rubber grips are cracking and peeling off). I had hoped this Kitchen Aid cutting board would be a good replacement – ITS NOT. New boards are thin, are not flat, and do not prevent sliding on the counter. Like going from a Lexus to a Pinto – what was Kitchen Aid thinking?? Do not buy this product!

I love the brand kitchen aid, however this is NOT the type of quality I would expect from Kitchen Aid. The only pros to this cutting board is the size, it is very large.
The biggest con and compliant is it is NOT non slip, at all! I took a short video to show an example of how easily it slides around.
I will be returning this item.

I should have realized this type of surface was subject to knife cuts, especially as I use serrated knives a lot. It cleans up well, is a good size, but I’ll reserve it for non serrated knives.
