Installation only faced only a couple of mild challenges. First of all, the instructions are in MICROSCOPIC print. Secondly, the base(s) of the rack were a little confusing because they came pre-assembled with the mount pieces inside them. You’ll need to disassemble/ remove the wall-mount parts from the base(s) in order to get started. The instructions don’t tell you about this. I highly recommend installing it using the studs in your wall, it dramatically simplifies installation. Actually, I had the advantage of the old towel rack mounting holes line up perfectly (with the studs) to match all measurements of this new rack.
Sturdiness is not a concern, I am hanging 2 full sized bathtowels without issues.
I love not having to share a single rack bar between 2 towels. Because now my towel dries completely with no moisture from folding before hanging.

This double towel rack is the perfect addition to any bathroom. The brushed nickel and design makes your bathroom look elegant. Well made, no scratches, polished nicely and it was extremely easy to install. The double rack saves a lot of space.

this is really nice, and does keep towels away from wall. The older style would not let towels breathe and smells and mold would appear pretty quick down here in southwest Fl. where the humidity and heat are what you expect 300 plus days a year. I have only had this up in the master bathroom for not even 6 months now and seems to keep the towels away from the wall. Even if not —its still pretty and matches everything else so if I have to wash towels more often not a big deal to me. but so far so good.

This is a good way to not have to buy a 2nd rod in a tiny bathroom. I hang my bath towel and 1 face towel on the front. Then hang my towel bath mat and on bath towel on the back rod. I put 2 pretty bird plates on the wall most people put a hand towel rod that would have cost me $20 more and for only $10 more I got more rod for my buck doing this double rod over the toilet. I still have room for 2 small pretty pics above the rod. I have both brush nickel and satin nickel fixtures in my bathroom and whichever this was, it went with the other. There is very little difference and you must look closely for it.

I installed this in my bathroom about a year ago and it’s been pretty nice, but I do have some gripes and tips if you’re considering this model. First, I’d recommend you install it into studs or something solid (not drywall)… I installed mine into drywall using the provided drywall anchors and one side is starting to come out. Installation is fairly straightforward; all you do is tape the instruction booklet to the wall, and then drill out the pre-marked holes. The distance between the two bars is a little too close (in my opinion) and the towels touch each other; sometimes the front towel falls off the rack when taking the back towel out because they are so close.

Moen is a reputable product. My only dissatisfaction is the two horizontal bars are too close to each other to allow really good drying of large bath towels in between showers. It is easy to install but drywall is awful for hanging various products even with anchors. Your drilled hole must be precise or the product will loosen from the wall to much annoying extra repair work.

I refitted my bathroom with racks and hooks from this collection and we are very pleased. I really like the installation templates and the drywall mounting gizmos are the best I’ve come across providing very secure and strong attachments.

I love the design and it could not have been any easier to mark the placement (the template is super easy). I love that these come with their own plastic VERY heavy duty toggle bolts so that if I didn’t hit a stud, it was still very secure. For those who don’t know, studs should be placed at 16″ apart on center (OC) which means that a 24″ towel bar might be lucky enough to hit stud on one end, but then will definitely not be on one at the other end. The toggle bolts are easy to predrill for (they list the size bit you need) and then once tapped into place are not moving. True test… my 5 year old decided to try doing pull ups on this bar. I only figured it out when his 9 year old brother came and told me how many his “big boy” brother had been able to do all on his own! If it can hold a 55 lb little boy, you know those anchors are holding. I also love the design, simple but clean and with kids, I love that it’s spot resistant so having them wipe it down is enough to keep it clean and new looking. Would definitely buy more of these in the future!

Love these! The two bars keep the towel spread apart for better drying while hanging. They look great and offer awesome function. Solid construction too.
