I’ve never owned a robot vacuum before but after a friend who also has pets swore by his robot vacuum (I forget which brand he has) I took the plunge.
At first it was funny watching the thing navigate around my dining room table and chairs, thinking ‘wow this thing is gonna break with the amount of bumping into things it does’ but after about a week it’s learned to navigate the house pretty efficiently! Also just the level of fur on my floors is about 98% less than it was before I bought the thing. It’s great at getting random little spots I would either miss or couldn’t get into with my Dyson V6.
I run it every other day in the morning and it usually has to return to the base station to charge 2 times to complete my whole house, which is 1400 square feet.
One thing that surprised me, and made me happy, was that it’s able to see the magnetic strip if you place it down near a part of the house where you don’t want it to go. For me that’s in front of the basement steps, which remains open so the cat can use the litter box down there. I purchased a magnet strip from another seller (not Eufy brand but a generic one that said it worked with Eufy) and mounted it by the top of the stairs and it recognizes it and avoids the tumble perfectly. Would have been nice to have a magnet strip included with the vacuum but not a big deal.
All in all I’m super satisfied with this thing! It’s pretty quiet and wildly efficient. Emptying the bin is far less painful and messy than emptying the canister on my Dyson and I’m convinced it’s doing a better job overall.
I can tell that my allergies have gotten better, my HVAC’s air filter is less dirty, and I honestly don’t think it’s ever been so clean under my bed/couch/buffet/dining room table.
Haven’t tried the mop function out yet but will update once I do!

Like: Power last for very long after fully charged, can go somewhere we don’t reach by hand (like under the bed or sofa)
Unlike: When the environment is too complicated, it could not quickly find the way back to the charge station, but that’s not a big problem, I always put it back by hand.

I purchased this to replace my aging iRobot which lacked smart controls. The description made it seem like it mapped out my home but this model does not. After a few weeks of cleaning with this robot I can say it’s not great and I was expecting better based on the reviews.
Right out of the box it appears to be a lovely machine and includes some maintenance items. However, after that is where I ran into issues. First off pairing with Wi-Fi was an absolute nightmare, I run a meshed network with great signal strength, even directly under the access point it had serious issues connecting. Took about an hour to finally get it connected.
They first clean was excellent, however, every cleaning since has been error filled. It will get stuck cleaning the shag rug for an hour, it’ll have its front bumper stuck for whatever reason, it won’t clean the entire level even after configuring it to continue to clean. When it actually cleans it’s great but it’s not smart enough to map. Eufy support tries but consistently doesn’t know this model and asks you to do things that are unavailable for this. So you’re left with when it gets confused to factory reset and start over.
The mopping… forget it, you can’t section off areas without additional accessories so that function can’t really work out of the box which is where an actual map would be useful.
Overall, I can’t recommend this robot for an open concept home, I’ve given it 3 stars because when it does clean it does a decent job but you might consider a smarter robot.

It was time to replace our old robovac with a new model. This one is so much better. I am impressed in how advanced these have become. With a large dog that sheds 24/7 our hardwood floors and runners are always covered with dust and dog hair. With this runny everyday on schedule we can keep out floors clean.
Pros:
Hasn’t gotten stuck yet
Quiet with multiple levels of auctions
Advanced algorithms drive the cleaning pattern
Strong motors push it over transitions
Large dust bin
Mop function
Alexa integration is perfect. I say “Alexa vacuum the floor” and she starts the eufy. I say” Alexa send the vacuum home” and the eufy heads to its base to charge.
Cons:
A bit expensive
Mopping functions are ok for light cleaning
This is a great replacement from out prior one. While it does cost x3 as much, it does a x5 better job. It is worth the price.

This product is not worth the money. Constantly runs into walls. Broke a personal belonging by knocking it down. Would not recommend at all. Definitely not a smart item, it avoids completely open areas and runs into furniture/walls constantly. Terrible investment. Purchasing one that maps the area. Can’t deal with this headache.
