These are a little better than I had expected. The plastic covering comes with protective film on both sides so you can hope to have something that isn’t scratched up when you unpack it. I wish they had done the film in such a way that it was easier to leave it on the outer side while putting the item in the frame, then being able to remove the outer film AFTER it’s been assembled, just so you don’t scratch the plastic in front up while getting things together, but they don’t. You will find it easiest if, on the outer surface, you pull back half an inch or so from all edges, then fit the plastic piece, then put the picture or poster inside, then place the backing, and THEN peel the rest of the film off the front. I did that, but still ended up with some under the top edge simply due to it going back a bit to original locations after I peeled it.
But still, for the price, pretty well done. I like that the retainers on back you twist into the frame to hold the back in place are springy and so this can accommodate a bit thicker item under the protective plastic cover as well.

I LOVE these frames!! I have spent so much money buying $20 poster frames that are awful quality but it’s all I can find at the big box stores. I hang a lot of posters and these are perfect for what I’m wanting to frame and at an amazing price for the quality. I haven’t had a single issue with the frames quality and will keep buying these in the future.

As far as cheap feeling and flimsy frames go, they’re probably among the nicer quality. Lots of springed tensile holders on the back make sure the board backing is very securely in place, and they come with handy wall hangers, and even instructions (wow), but I absolutely cannot believe that, for this price, they are not glass. The plexiglass is a bit flimsy feeling, and I just would expect 2 frames for nearly $30 would have glass in them. Overall I’m pretty satisfied, but flummoxed by that fact, and feel I can’t give it a 5 stars because of this.

Kind of cheapy. I was in a rush and needed two frames in this size. Didn’t realize they are completely plastic frames with plastic and not glass. A basic Monet: From afar they’re good, but up close it’s a big ole mess. If it’s for a nice piece, pass this up and get something of quality. If you’re into Impressionism, go for it.

Look like the pictures. It’s actually quite good for the price. Just what I was looking for. The frames are a plastic with a matte black finish. The glass is actually plastic as well, although you can’t tell from far away. Came with instructions and with 3 hooks, which I appreciated. As I said they are plastic and I feel they can get damaged with small impacts. I am happy with what I got for the price. Like if this helped.

I can’t believe there are even ANY good reviews for these frames. They are BEYOND flimsy plastic: the frame and the “plexiglass”. What a joke. I buy a lot of frames and these are the worst. Even with the double “protective” film on the plexiglass? Both came scratched and they are SO EASY to ruin—practically by just looking at them (yes, my nod to Nigel in Spinal Tap). If you simply don’t care and enjoy the worst of made in China, by all means, go for it. If you care how your image looks? Again, “don’t even look at” these.

Very functional, basic frames. Easy to use, and good value for the price. Good for certificates and photos, but not enough quality for more expensive artworks. I’m pleased with the item.

Did you have a cute poster you wanted framed? What about an odd-sized print? This may have been your only option on Amazon, so you thought, hey, it’s cheap enough, what the heck.
Don’t. This frame is awful. Do you have dust? Lint? Even, heaven forbid, dog hair? Every speck of that in your home will magically find its way to the plexi “glass” in this frame. The plexi is super static-y and attracts it *all*. There is no way to put your image into this frame such that there is not a bunch of little dusty bits between your image and the frame. There will be more sweater lint on this plexi than you have yarn in your sweater. There will be more dog hair between this plexi and your print than there is on your dog.
It is a value for money, I give you that. Two frames for – oh, it’s on sale now? Never mind, I even paid too much.
Awful. Horrible. Returning them. Two stars only because, to be honest, at that price, I should’ve known.

Did not expect these frames to work so well. There is no glass but a clear sheet of Plexiglas or maybe even plastic. The plastic is covered with a film that peels off on both sides. Clean and no finger prints. Nice glossy finish. Easy to put together. The pictures I bought these for look great!

I didn’t realize the whole frame was plastic, not even glass over the photo. I am very disappointed, the frames were priced much higher than I believe they are worth, could have gotten the same quality at the dollarstore for less.
