Great cooler, use for camping weekends. Keeps food cold and ice lasts well.
Used it in a 2 day drive from the Great White North to Florida. Used a couple of the “blue bricks” to keep bottom coldest, then frozen meat, then meals, and so on. We were pleased at the capacity of it. Upon arrival, we were NOT disappointed that the meat was still solidly frozen. Item closer to the top were still cold. If going for longer times, more ice blocks or blue bricks would be desired on top. Pack your items carefully with extra ice (in freezer bags works). Pleased with the coolers performance.

Great value! So nice that you can wheel it places makes life so much easier. It fits a lot! 60-80 drinks (cans or juices). With ice it kept things cold for almost 4 days!

I agree with a previous reviewer in that the cooler’s lid has to be maneuvered and pressed down in order to close it. I have a Coleman cooler (~60 gal) from many, many years ago. When compared, the lid on the new cooler is much looser at the hinge and has a lot more play in it. Not a big deal, it just takes a few more seconds to securely close the lid. But it does seem to show a change in design/production quality. The wheels are big enough to allow use on irregular surfaces but I would not use it on sand, as at the beach. You should only lift the cooler by the two handles, one on each side. Do not use the pull handle, it is not sturdy. Also, when draining, the drain hole is not level with the bottom of the inside and some water remains in the cooler after draining, so you must turn the cooler over to completely drain the water. The cooler is lightweight enough with this remaining water to allow easy lifting and emptying.

I purchased it for long camping trips. Recently used it to store food for my 5 day trip to Colorado Rocky mountains. I am impressed. Even after 5 days of my trip, half of ice was there and the food was frozen. I would definitely recommend it.

So, we have about 3 coolers at my home in Tennessee. However, I was in NYC visiting my family and I realized I forgot to bring one of my coolers so that I could bring back a bunch of Russian food (think kielbasa’s, cheeses, fish, etc) and that was a travesty because bringing back russian food to Tennessee is the only reason why I drive 18 hours to NYC in the first place. Anyway, I ordered this cooler because I frankly didn’t know what exactly 60 quarts looked like but I estimated that to be the size of my other favorite little blue Coleman cooler. I was wrong. This thing is MASSIVE inside. You could fit like 4 full size watermelons in this thing. It kept its coolness throughout the entire 18 hour drive back to TN in the middle of July, which, if you don’t know, is typically around the hottest time of the year for traveling South. So I am very impressed with not only it’s size, but also it’s ability to help me get all this salami back in edible condition.
Also, the price on this thing is CHEAP! Order one, you won’t regret it!
PPS, it has a drain spout which is also cool.

It was pretty flimsy upon arrival (ie the material was thinner compared to older Coleman products I used to own). But having taken it to the beach several times, it’s held up well. Food and drinks have stayed cold for about 9 hours. Ice has stayed solid for about 6-7 hours.
However, having used it about twice a month at the beach for a total of 12-15 times, the metal trolley portion is starting to rust. So while fixable, it’s a bit disappointing.

All these year’s I have wasted money on other ice boxes, for which I curse my self this is the box with class and perfect quality to call so. The effect of cooling is absolutely stunning, I had carried some home made cubes for a party, I forget to empty the remaining items after the party, I was really shocked to see the bottles chilled and the cubes too after 2 day’s.This is a product to buy if u want to go outdoor camping or on a long drive.

We ordered this cooler to use at our time at a cottage in a few weeks. Decided to test it out. Placed a bag of ice in it and closed the lid. In an hour, the top/sides of the outside of the cooler felt cold. The cooler was closed and the temperature in our home was 72 F. Opened the cooler this morning, after 21 hours, and found a cool puddle of water. Very disappointed. Definitely returning it.

When did spending 100’s of dollars on a cooler become acceptable??? This is a nice, big, affordable cooler with wheels. Works great.
