This doesn’t even deserve 1 star. A life jacket has one job and it failed miserably! My 14 month old daughter wore her new life jacket to the lake today and fell while wading. The lifekacket held her face down in the water. These should be recalled.

We bough this for a birthday party for my 11.5 month old son. He has an older sister who uses a puddle jumper and we love that. I was excited to find one for his age and weight. I wanted to make sure i had a little bit of time if i took my eyes off him to watch his sister. Unfortunately, this is not that product. I watched the sister slide into the pool and turned back to find him face down struggling and not able to right himself. I tried a few additional times to see if that was a fluke (he is in swimming lessons so i knew he would be okay for a few seconds) and it was VERY repeatable.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. They should issue a recall on these!

This life vest is supposed to flip children on to their back for safety reasons. For the most part, it does. However, BE CAREFUL AND WATCH YOUR CHILD!!! We found that If your kiddo does get enough power to flip over, it holds their head under the water.

Bought this for boating. My daughter is about 14lbs at 3 months old. It seems to fit her well. It appears much more comfortable than others we looked at. However we have not yet tried this in the water.

My 18 MO was wearing this while wading in the kiddie pool & when she put her face to the water (b/c she likes to blow bubbles) she lost her footing and was floating face down. She couldn’t get her feet back down on the ground. This device keeps kids floating FACE DOWN without being able to get back up. It happened 2 more times at the pool that day & another mom saw it & said she had the same problems last summer when her son wore the same exact one.

I am impressed with how well designed this life jacket is. It fits her like a glove with room to grow. My 5 month old is indepemdant yet safe in water (we stay within arms reach). This item was used the first time we introduced her to water. She has evolved so much since… This is the kind of investment that makes it easy and safe for both parent and baby. Thank you

Fits my 17 lb 6 month old fantastic. Still room for him to grow and not too tight . We haven’t used it in the lake yet but we tested it in the tub and he loves it!

This life vest was bought for our granddaughter about 16 lb. and 16 months old. Very happy with it and she loves to wear it. If your little one ends up off their feet in water it immediately will rotate them face up out of the water. Super happy with this purchase!

Finally got some use out of this lifejacket and really like it. The material seems high quality and is soft, the neck area is not too small like some of the other reviews have been saying. My child is 9 months old, 19 pounds, and this lifejacket fits her perfectly. Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because when she sits against a seat the neck flotation support pushes her head forward so she can’t really look up- that being said she also is only 9 months old. It’s easy to put on and buckle, and I like the fact that the neck buckle is off to the side so it doesn’t cause friction against her skin. Would buy again! Wish it came in more colours!

We bought this life jacket for our 1 week old son. I scoured reviews to find one I thought would fit him. This one is perfect. It goes on much more easily than I expected and fit him well. He didn’t love it, but that happens. It seems secure enough to be safe but didn’t squish him. He’s about 9 lbs at the moment. It didn’t pinch his neck, it was actually a perfect fit. Definitely recommend!

**update** a whole year later and I still love this safety life jacket. It still fits very well at 31” 25lb. She doesn’t tolerate it as well at she did last summer. But ya know,…. being a toddler is hard LOL. I will definitely hold on to this life jacket for my newborn son. The quality of this PFD is great.
**original review** I would buy this life jacket again!! I purchased for my 10 month old, 24in., 18lb baby. It was difficult to find an infant life jacket in a store. I was hesitant to purchase online because fit is obviously VERY important. I wish I was able to upload more than 1 photo, the Amazon app is stopping me. The life jacket is fantastic. It fits very well and my baby is comfortable and happy in it. I would definitely buy this again. Some reviews are critical stating that this PFD is not good for swimming, that is a misuse of the product. This is for floating and keeping babys face OUT of the water. If you want something to help your infant swim, this is not the right product. (Life jackets = help save your LIFE Swim aids = help you swim)

This infant life vest worked great for us! It fit my 12 lb, 12 week old perfectly (with adjustable straps and room to grow) and surprisingly he didn’t seem to mind being strapped in. We have only used it for floating, not on a boat (yet).

I was really nervous about boating season and having a life jacket that worked properly. My daughter is ISR trained but it was still imperative that the life jacket be tested to ensure her safety in the event of an accident. My fear was that the jacket would force her face down in the water(like many life jackets with the head flap too). As you can see from the video, this jacket naturally rolls her to her back! The price point is great too! I don’t think any life jacket is comfortable, but this one definitely didn’t squish her face like many have before. All in all, we are very happy so far! Can’t wait to see how it last this summer! For reference, my daughter is 11 months old, about 18 pounds and 27-28 inches tall.
