Cute toy. My daughter likes princesses and wants to be a hairstylist when she grows up. This toy is perfect for her to practice playing salon. The color change for the nails and makeup does work. The size is good. Not too big that it takes up the entire vanity but big enough for my 6 year old daughter to have fun practicing hair and makeup. The hair is a bit thinner than I wish. Over all I am happy with this toy.

The doll itself is great! Hair is super soft and easy to brush without the doll falling over.. the only reason why it got two stars from me is bc the eyeshadow, lipstick and nails don’t change color. I’ve tried everything… following the instructions. I was going to return it but my daughter loves just brushing her hair and styling it. Plus she still pretends to be painting her nails without the water. So I looked at it as a win for me bc there won’t be any spill disasters. Just would have been nice if it actually did what it advertised!

Bought this for Christmas and the hair is very smooth to brush but some of it does come out and it eventually looks like the top area is thinning after moderate use. My daughter loved the makeup/nail changing feature when applying cold/hot water but I think the colors should have been more drastic so they could really tell it was changing instead of saying mommy, did it and then having to point the color change out. Went from pink to a different shade of pink. It was the HIT of Christmas so I suggest it since the competition to this one had a longer list of faults.

I picked this out for my boyfriend’s daughter as a Christmas gift. She likes it a lot. I was a little disappointed that the lip color & eye shadow doesn’t seem to change color. And it is kind of hard to do the nails on the bottom hand. It would have been nice if could have moved it out a little bit. And I do wish there was a few more styling ideas in the booklet included. Even though the color change only seems to work on the nails, I think this is still a good styling head.

My four year old loves this, but there are some flaws. Its weighted, but it isn’t hard to knock over. We, regardless of the water temperature, cannot get the eyes/lips/nails to change from anything but the bright pink color…this was so very disappointing. The accessories are pidly, I bought a doll brush and hairbows from a separate vendor, they work much better. This kit comes with small elastic ponytail holders, watch out your kid doesn’t wear them as bracelets as they’re not great for circulation!

To save you a headache & a disappointed child, use a very warm washcloth (supervision needed) to return the makeup to its original state. The instructions are inadequate, as the warm water removal will not work with the tiny applicator. Only other remark is the hair should be fuller at he roots.

Bought this for my granddaughter’s 4th birthday. It was a hit, she absolutely loved it and couldn’t wait to get it out of the package. I read reviews about the color change not working but bought it anyway and hoped for the best. We found that when we put cold tap water into the little bottle, it didn’t work all that great… but we learned quickly that if she used ice water from a cup that it worked perfectly. Warm water changes the color back. Even the warmth of your hands or fingers with change it back too. The hair is nice and full, didn’t see any bald or thin spots. So far I’m very pleased with it. I’m happy I got it. Most importantly, my granddaughter LOVES it!! Packaging was good. I’m not a prime member and I opted for standard free shipping but I still got it in two days! 👍

The doll DOES NOT change the color as advertised. We tried warm and cold on it (even the ice chips). The color change was the main reason we decided to buy this one over the other rapunzel styling head which is much cheaper. Otherwise nice toy, but in my opinion if something is defective in the toy the price should have been discounted.
