Goodthreads Men’s Standard-Fit Long-Sleeve Plaid Herringbone Shirt

I can’t say enough good about these shirts! These are really great quality and much more substantial than most other shirts I have found. This shirt feels like it will easily outlast or at least hang with any other shirt I own.

I originally ordered a large, just like I always do with almost every other shirt, coat, jacket vest, etc. The fit is just a tad bit on the smaller side (…not really much room to move…tight when crossing my arms or reaching overhead) so I ordered another in an XL size and, though it is certainly a bit more loose than any of my other large shirts, it fits very comfortably (the way large shirts used to fit, you know) and I can actually reach above my head while wearing it…haha.
I have since ordered other XLs of other patterns and love every one of them. I’ll definitely be shopping Goodthreads from here on!

I didn’t know what to expect from Goodthreads. I can definitely say I was pleasantly surprised. The weave is nice and tight. Thick enough for a little wind blocking, but mainly I use it as an insulation layer with another jacket or just by itself. Will be buying another of these, soon.

#1 this is 100% cotton is can be difficult to truly find in a flannel. This isn’t a heavy flannel nor lightweight, it’s thickness is in between. My Son is 5’8” 140lbs & I purchased a medium. He wears hoodies underneath the flannel. It fits exactly as I hoped. The design is exact to what the descriptive picture shows & is attractive. I like the 3 buttons at the sleeve & I like how they include 2 extra buttons with the flannel. It does say to wash on warm which I did & it washed wonderfully. I hung to dry. I would need light ironing. For the price this is a genuine quality flannel & I will come back to this brand again in the future. I hope my pictures give you a good idea of what the flannel looks like outside of the Amazon site. I do recommend this.

I’ve standardized around XLT clothing, for the most part, sometimes bumping up to XL2-3T. This shirt defies reference in this sizing realm. I have XLT shirts with far more room overall. in all the places the T for Tall implies. But here…the sleeves are overtly slim, the shoulders inspire an easy flex to hulk rip through, the chest is uncomfortably tight. Yet the belly waist area has more room. Best I can tell it’s designed for thin pear-shaped people with abnormally slim and disproportionately short arms. The thought of seeing what a cold run through the wash might do to it was plainly horrifying. I just can’t figure this shirt…considered bumping up to an XL3T, but abandoned that notion, not wanting to find out what other abnormal dimensions lay in wait.

fits almost better than expected! I ordered the medium tall and I’m 6ft, 165 lbs, athletic build. Not too tight on the upper arms/shoulders, not too tight in the forearms, not too big in the waist. Really, just about perfect.

I also get lots of compliments on the white/grey pattern as that’s less common these days, I’m told.

I bought this shirt for my husband to wear in family pictures. The colors are true to the image on Amazon. It is very well made. All of the reviews said to size up because of the length of the sleeves but I found this not true. My husband is 6’4 with long arms and the sleeves fit him just fine. Stay true to size!

This is the 5th “Amazon Good Threads” shirt we have purchased. The shirts fit him perfectly and he feels comfortable in them at work. At 6’4 and 300lbs, it has been hard for him to find work shirts that are long enough for him and that also fit around the chest and arms. The material is high quality and the looks are fashionable. We will continue to shop these shirts.
