Bought this as a gift for my moms whose going through ‘the change’. She loves it. Opened it and begun wearing from the second she received it. The fan is super high quality and can blow harder than a street walker. She’s got short hair so it’s fine but I’d be concerned recommending for anyone who has long hair as the fan shroud is open and it could get caught. So maybe keep your locks up to prevent scalping. Also great for working outside.

The clump of hair I just pulled out of the intake verifies that this thing can and will eat hair. The three star was because they said hair wouldn’t get caught it in. I plan to keep it, but will certainly pull my hair up when in use.

I work in warm humid conditions and this really takes the edge off of the extreme heat. The fan is not silent and so do find myself speaking a bit louder and needing to focus more when speaking to people while it’s on but that is a mild inconvenience for me. One change I would make is to have separate buttons for power and fan speed. When speaking with someone I have to cycle through the fan speeds to turn it off.
