Me encantó. Excelente funcionamiento y seguridad en el encendido, lo que evita encender por accidente. Ideal que trajera una funda para la cuchilla. Se la haré para transportarla con mayor seguridad ya que mi jardín es grande y requiero movilidad.

Great trimmer. My previous Black and Decker trimmer lasted over thirty-five years, so I just bought this new one. It performs great. Light and easy to use.

This is a great hedge trimmer, and light enough for me, a woman, to use. It makes quick work of trimming up our hedges, and smaller branches on our trees. Just make sure you lubricate the blades maybe once a year so that it stays in good shape.

Used once, to test the item. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s the case with most hedge trimmers. Works well, as expected. However, after a while you notice the weight. Having the handle is a huge plus, and one of the reasons I purchased this over the Black & Decker lower models. The best way to describe my satisfaction with this B&D hedge trimmer? Before, it took 2.5 – 3 hours to use hedge clippers to trim 2 bushes, constantly checking for level and shape. With this hedge trimmer, not rushing, about 40 minutes. Then I tackled shrubs that I usually end up leaving for another day. So, 1.5 – 2 hours completed whole job that would cover 3 days, with perhaps a total of 6.5 hours. Less frustration and aggravation. Glad I went with the stronger, handle equipped model.

Very reasonably priced and works well BUT: the specs on the Amazon web page indicate it will trim branches up to 3/4 inches in diameter whereas in the manual the model 200 has under a big CAUTION label the comment “Do not use BEHT200 trimmer for cutting stems greater than 5/8 in.” Because I rarely, if ever, trim branches that thick (and because of the hassle of returning the item) I decided to keep it. If, however, you need the 3/4 inch capability get the 300, 350, 400 model — or a different brand.

I recently moved into a neighborhood with and HOA. Within a few weeks I received a letter that I needed to trim the plants in my front yard so they are clear of the sidewalk and my driveway. So as a good homeowner I pulled out me hedge shears and went to work. After a good three hours I had all of my plants trimmed, the yard raked and felt like a responsibly HOA member. What I would soon learn is that the four plants I have in my front yard are the infamous Red Bird of Paradise native to AZ- these plants grow fast….FAST. After some monsoon rain, I came back from a 4 day vacation and found these suckers to be twice as big as before I had even trimmed them. So once again I pulled out my handy hedge shears and spend another 3 hours trimming and cleaning. Another few days of rain and BAM the darn bushed are even bigger now, completely blocking the sidewalk taking over my driveway, trying to come in the house and to make matters worse I get another letter from my HOA telling me to trim the plants! In my moment of rage as I was reaching for my hedge shears to spend yet another 3 hours on these darn plants I had a realization. Since I couldn’t burn them down as I wanted to do, because of my HOA rules, and I was most likely going to have to trim them again in a week, I was going to spend 12 hours in a month trimming these bushes. 144 hours a year, 4320 hours in the life of my 30 year mortgage… over 25 weeks of my life trimming these bushes. In shock of the direction my life was heading towards I hoped on Amazon purchased these bad boys and went HAM on the stupid bushes. These things cut through 1/2 inch twigs, I trimmed these things down to the ground. I was done within the hour. Now I cant wait until the bushes grow so I can take all of my anger out on them with these awesome hedge trimmers.

Ok let me start by saying I moved to a “neighborhood” house from a 90 acre farm. I am used to heavy duty equipment and it working on demand. I had 2 B & D hedge trimmers one I sold and the other was lost in the move they were large and awesome, When I rec’d this package it didn’t look very large then I opened the box and was really disappointed, small trimmer, “great, what am I going to cut with these?” is what I said to myself. But, I figured I would at least try, to my surprise I was awed by these trimmers! I put the handle and guard on, comes with screws attached, off I went to tackle the jungle lol, these cut thru branches I thought would be way to much for these little guys. I did have to push a little bit on ones close to an inch but other than that they worked great and were light enough that I did not get tired as I had a lot of trimming to do. Just because something is smaller it should not be underestimated. I am very pleased with these trimmers and look forward to the next clean-up. They have a wire holder on them so the cord does not get accidentally cut too! I’ve cut a few cords in my day I know what a drag that can be lol..hope this helps!

Good for smaller bushes, especially to cut them in round shape. If you have a long hedge and want to cut straight and even lines, I recommend buying a trimmer with a LONGER blade.

We bought this to replace an old Black and Decker trimmer that we had for many years. Since it was very reliable and worked for so long, we decided to stick with what we know and buy a similar product. The new one has only been used once, but it worked well and felt familiar, so we are happy. If it lasts as long as its predecessor, we will be satisfied. The only complaint is not with the trimmer, but with the delivery. It did not come in a shipping box but just in the Black and Decker box. The problem is that the bottom of the box had been taped closed originally, but the tape had dried out and let go, and the bottom was totally open. We were surprised that it was delivered that way, because the shipper and the delivery person would have had to hold the bottom closed to get every step along the way. It was propped against the side of my door, and when we picked it up, the contents fell out. Luckily, all seemed to be there somehow.
