Purchased for my PS5. Was a snap to install, the hardest part was removing the plates since I had never done it before. Expected the inside to need a cleaning since its a launch PS5 and I probably play about 20-25 hours a week but it was surprisingly clean. Not much dust at all. Anyhow took out the screw and spacer, plugged in the SSD put back screw and plates, turned on the PS5 that immediately recognized the SSD, formatted it and was good to go. Games run the same, very quick on transfer from PS5 SSD to the WD, transfer from my external SSD which is a Samsung T7 seemed about the same. No change in noise or temp of the PS5. My PS5 always run cool and silent.

Wow so I got this like a week ago for my PS five knowing that the firmware update had an arrived yet. I sat on it for about three days and then after their stay to play came it was a couple days later which was like two days ago they released the firmware update for all users for unlocking the M.2 expansion slot 3-D audio coming out of the TV speakers and more. I can’t be happier with this drive that I bought for it it runs amazing and insulation was a breeze!!!

Caught this bad boy on sale for $359.99 and it has as the perfect amount of space, but be VERY careful with the install guide you use…My initial guide didn’t explain where the mounting screw actually was and also what to do with the spacer, once you understand that it’s smooth sailing and lastly the 2 screws that you need to unscrew in order to install the drive has a small philips head top….

Purchased to install in a Playstation 5 now that the internal storage expansion is usable. Only took about 5 minutes to install and has been working flawlessly. The included heatsink also provides peace of mind that it will run well and stay cool.

The performance is definitely noticeable when I switched from my PS5 SSD to the WD! My games work perfectly fine and the switch from the PS5 to the WD worked seamlessly. The installation was easy too!

This thing is blazing fast, install took no more than 5 minutes. Glad I got this 2TB SSD on sale right before they sold out again.

Amazingly fast SSD, is as fast as if not faster than the internal storage on my PS5. All 2 tb were available, setup process and installation was quick. Was a bit pricey but thats just the going rate for these SSD’s, i did get mines on sale for 360. If you can get it cheaper than that it is a not brainer, if you cant i still 100% recommend this product.
