Los focos funcionan como prometen sin embargo para donde los quería no son los mejores, el principal problema es que no encienden solos, aveces no detectan que es de noche y no prenden aunque si apagan siempre. Para lo que los quería quedan al 50% de su función por lo que decidí quedarme un par de los que pedí. Por cierto, hay que tener cuidado con el sensor ya que puede hacer que el foco permanezca apagado por su propia iluminación.

No sé si fue problema de los focos que me llegaron o todos tienen el mismo funcionamiento, pero en mi caso los focos no cumplieron su función.
Coloqué los focos en el exterior esperando que estos encendieran al obscurecer y se apargaran con la luz del día. Sin embargo, no lo hicieron. Se encendian al no haber luz del sol únicamente por un par de minutos, despues se apagaban.
Decidí hacer la devolución. En ese sentido Amazon bien como siempre, respondiendo a sus clientes.

Este foto no funciona con Alexa, es un foco con celda, por lo cual prende al momento de oscurecer y se apagan cuando sale el sol, lo único que tienes que hacer es dejar siempre el interruptor prendido o abierto; se instala como cualquier foco.

I got these today and within minutes after opening the package, I was already heading to UPS to return them. I installed them both to porch lights at my front and back doors during the day and they both turned on. I went and got a bright flash light and put it right up to the sensor and the lights still stayed on. They were pretty bright for 800 lumens out in daylight though, so that’s 1 good thing I can say about them.

Ya no me tengo que preocupar por si se me olvidó apagar el foco o si se me olvidó encenderlo. Es muy práctico y fácil de instalar, solo se enrosca, dejas el interruptor encendido y listo. Enciende automáticamente a la hora del atardecer y se apaga al amanecer, no hay que ajustar nada. Dura encendido casi 12 horas, dependiendo la época del año. Tiene las medidas de un foco común y es de bajo consumo de energía. Compré la versión de luz de día, la cual es una luz de color blanco agradable a la vista. Un detalle a tener en cuenta es que es equivalente a un foco tradicional de 60 W, si buscas iluminar un área grande mejor elige uno de mayor potencia.

For the price, these are good dusk to dawn light bulbs. Oddly enough, when you screw these in snug, the sensor would face the wall, and not out towards the open space. I had older Philips dusk to dawn bulbs with the same sensor design, and the sensors would always face outwards when screwed in snug. These have the opposite tendency. Because of this, I wasn’t able to screw these in as snug as I would have liked, in order to get the sensor to face to the side more instead of dead at the wall. Either way, they do seem to be working well so far, and are nice and bright. Hopefully they will hold up.

The first two bulbs I bought both lasted less than one year. The new ones I bought do not turn on when it gets dark but have no problems turning off when it becomes light. I have to turn the switch off for a few seconds, then turn it on to get the bulbs to come on. Don’t think I’ll be wasting my money on any more of these.

I was hoping that the light would turn on automatically when things START TO GET DARK and turn off when there STARTS TO BE DAYLIGHT. You know, dusk to dawn.
The problem is that this bulb would turn on or stay on even when there is enough daylight outside and no artificial light is needed to illuminate anything. Cloudy sky, overcast sky, rainy day, early sunrise, etc. would cause this light to turn on or stay on.

I used these to remedy broken photo sensors in some light fixtures on the front of my garage. They worked perfectly and put off a nice white light (not yellow).

WOW – so glad I saw an add for these types of light bulbs on Facebook. Came to Amazon and searched, found these and got them. I bought 2 more since I got the first 2! They are before and super bright! I will never have to ‘remember’ to turn on (or off) the outside lights again! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
