Bought this to improve upon my last carry-on, as I was tired of massively wrinkled suits. The reviews are true: you can fit a huge amount of clothing in this bag. My first trip included one full suit, two pairs of pants, and three long-sleeved dress shirts, with all the usual undershirts, workout clothes, sundries and such, and a pair of dress shoes. For my size, a stout 6′, the tails of my shirts and suit jackets did fold up, but various straps and covers provided meant that any wrinkles were not creases, and they hung-out easily on arrival, or with just slight bit of ironing work. Plenty of pockets and a very sturdy handle. The only thing I had to get used to was having only two wheels to work with while rolling, but that’s easy. And it fits nicely in both United and AA baggage sizers with no issue, even fully loaded. No problems traveling with it as a carry-on though multiple domestic or international flights I’ve taken with it.

Update from Jan 2020: I’ve flown with this as carry-on on all major US domestic carriers and Hawaiian Air, plus United international, Emirates, Jet Airways, Air India, Vistara, Spice Jet, ANA, Avianca and Singapore. Only Emirates hassled me a bit but it was over the weight of what I packed not the size.

I travel frequently for work both flying and driving spending 2-3 nights a week on the road. I wanted to try a different type of suitcase. Especially since I thought I could travel with dress shirts and pants and not have to iron them after the cleaners. This is my second trip with the Travel Pro and my clothes are more wrinkled than ever. There is not much room to pack stuff. At the most 2 shirts and pants, one pair of shoes and cosmetics. Don’t recommend this bag for more than 1-2 nights. I did know that the wheels would only go one direction, but didn’t realize how difficult it is to roll it standing up.
I will give it good marks for construction- material, zipper, and wheels. Might be ok if you just had a suit. For my purposes it just doesn’t work. I do like an extra pair of shoes, along with sneakers, but there is no room for that. Right now if have 3 shirts, 2 pants, sneakers, cosmetics, underwear and socks and I needed to sit on it to zipper it up.
I will go back to my rectangle bag and prefolded shirts from the cleaners

This luggage was smaller than expected, especially for the cost.

    The Good:
    – True carry on
    – Very light weight for a rolling garment bag
    – Large rolling wheels so easy maneuverability
    – Telescoping handle is high enough to easily accomodate taller people
    – Holds my suit and multiple shirts (can easily go 3 days with this garment bag)
    – Sturdy nylon material so wears well

    The Bad:
    – Telescoping handle doesn’t adjust to different heights but not that big of a deal

    The Bottom Line:
I just traveled with this garment bag and it’s now my favorite garment bag. It’s way lighter than my Tumi rolling garment bag and holds more clothing. This garment bag has sufficient pockets (2 outside pockets, multiple interior pockets). It rolls very well and is very comfortable maneuvering around the airport. Overall, if you’re in the market for a rolling carry on garment bag, look no further!

Great for 2-3 day trips. Easily fits 2 suits, a few shirts and all the things needed for 2-3 day business trip including a pair of shoes. Fits in the overhead bins. Great Travelpro quality.

I was skeptical when I bought this. I am 5’4″, so a little shorter than average. This fit 2 full suits, 3 shirts, shoes, ties, (2) laptop chargers and it was still pretty light to walk around the airport with. When I arrived at my destination there was not a single wrinkle in any of my clothes, and I don’t want to forget that it actually fit in the plane’s overhead compartment. I wish I had overcome my skepticism a long time ago and bought one of these. I am not sure how it would work out for someone who is much taller than me because my suits are 38 short and I had to do a little folder over on the bottom of the suit because it was a little too big for the case. But again, no wrinkles, easy to transport, meets airport carry on requirements, and it really does seem durable (but I also take care of the things I buy). I do recommend this.

Update: after 2 short trips the leg broke! I used it with care and carried on this luggage. Disappointed to say the least, was very excited to use it but….

I travel a lot for work and love the quality and convenience this bag gives me. I’ve flown with it 8 times already and it is rock solid. Last year I bought a London Fog garment bag on Amazon and I could tell as soon as it arrived that the zippers were cheap, needless to say it fell apart on me in six months. This Travelpro bag still looks and functions like its new, and I can easily put two days worth of clothes, pair of shoes, and still have room.

I did tons of research, have traveled a lot, and used many bags and methods.
This bag kept two suits, 4 shirts, shoes, and all undergarments in fantastic condition. Timeline was around 5 hours there (in bag) and 10 hours home (after flights were delayed). I literally have more wrinkles after wearing suits than it had after they traveled in the garment roller. Certainly recommend.
I’ll also note I packed it carefully and used plastic suit bags after reading this reduces friction and thus wrinkles. It worked!

I used this for a destination wedding. Checked a large suitcase but didn’t want to lose our wedding clothes. Pros 1) fits perfectly as carry on and fits in overhead bin nicely.
    2) fits 2 suits, two dresses and two pairs shoes nicely minimal wrinkles
The cons- my zippers were very janky. Doesn’t zip easily through folded tabs and was very hard to close at bottom and the zippers were not in the best of condition. Overall I’d purchase again from this brand
