I’m in love! Bought 2 pillowcases and have been using them for months now… and they definitely work! For both skin and hair. I have afro hair and this pillowcase solved the problems of fizz and dryness. My hair is noticeably less fizzy and retains more moisture (my old cotton pillowcase would soak up all my hair oil, leaving my hair dry and a massive oil patch!) As for skin, I have noticed my face is even softer than before and appears smoother.
I can’t recommend them enough, I’ll be buying more but in different colours.

This is the real deal. I have bought countless ‘silk pillowcases’ for a lot more expensive than this and have been very disappointed (I had a dispute with a Chinese company which lasted almost a year). This pillow case (only one when ordering, unless you ask for two) is the real deal. At first you might think it is too shiny to be silk but I can assure you it is not, and when you wash it (I forgot the special washing instructions and put it in with the rest of the bedding at 50) it came out absolutely fine and is definitely silk – thank God it survived. It is still lovely to touch, kind on my face and hair, and most importantly not satin as so many companies try to fox you with, I have been there, and this is definitely the real article. Please don’t think I am a paid reviewer – I am not, I am just please to find the real product eventually for a reasonable price!!! Although any freebies wouldn’t go a miss ha ha. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that, but I would definitely recommend this item.

I bought this pillowcase for my hair and skin. At first, I did not notice a big difference in my hair. It wasn’t until after I stopped using it that I started noticing my hair texture to change. It began to look dry and frizzy again. With that being said, I truly believe this silk pillowcase will benefit the health and texture of your hair. I recommend giving it a shot. It’s super soft and it will also make your bed look more classy ;’)

One thing I certainly like is that the pillowcase is actually silk as the producer describes and not satin or silk-like. I would recommend to anyone who wants to look after their hair as it reduces hair damage. Also, no need to worry for those who put a night cream on their skin, the silk doesn’t absorb it. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought 2 of these pillowcases in King size for the purpose of hair and skin benefits. I wasn’t expecting much as far as results, but after the first night I woke up and looked in the mirror and wow!.. my face skin had softened, less visible wrinkles (especially in the eyes area), I looked refreshed without even getting a good nights sleep that night! My hair is very very long but fine and it was so soft, not broken or crazy as when I used cotton pillowcases. Honestly I couldn’t believe the difference, why didn’t I buy these sooner!?! I’m 33 and I’ve been using this pillowcase for 10 days now and my wrinkles are way less visible, I’m also prone to severe acne and it has been gone since I started sleeping on these. My husband commented that he likes how it doesn’t pull on his face. He’s right, no pulling at all, SO comfortable!

I am really pleased with my pillow cases. Beautiful soft pink and really light and soft. I bought them in the hope that my hair and my skin would benefit from the silk and I definitely noticed the difference. Not only are they very comfortable, my hair wasn’t sticking up at the top and tangled at the bottom which it usually is, and my face wasn’t covered in creases from the pillow. I am really pleased with them, just wish I discovered them earlier. I washed them before use on a cold and gentle silk wash in my machine and let them dry naturally and they look great. Well made too, I like the hidden zip. Very happy.

I am disappointed in the size of the pillow case. I ordered the standard size which is the correct size I need. Once I zipped the pillow case it bends the pillow (like the pillow case is too small). So I went out to purchase another standard pillow, just incase, and it does it with this pillow too. I have tried to deal with it but it’s so uncomfortable that I can’t use it. I wish I would have known the size was inconsistent with standard pillows because I would have just ordered a king size pillow case.

Got this pillowcase after having it recommended by a colleague. Love it so much (never thought I’d be so enthusiastic about a pillowcase) that I’m going to buy another so I have a spare to travel with etc. Before, I used to wake up with creases all over my face, but that doesn’t happen with this pillowcase! Great value for money, and I got mine during a promotion where I got a free eyemask with it, which was an added bonus! Would absolutely recommend this product.

So I know nothing about silk and momme but wanted to get a silk pillowcase for my curly hair that always ends up a frizzy mess in the morning. I wanted to see for myself the difference between the momme and whether higher momme was really worth the higher price point. I tried this 19 momme one that is around $20, a 21 momme one that was around $25 and a 25 momme one that is around $40.
You could definitely tell the difference between the 19 momme one and the 21 and 25 momme ones. I would not invest in this pillowcase. Lying them side by side, the difference in quality was very clear to me and this case felt much thinner than the rest (though all the silk cases were quite thin, this one just felt flimsy). And I have to agree with another review I read here that it honestly felt a little more like satin than I would want (though I also ordered satin cases and it was definitely softer and more silk like than those but not nearly as soft as the 21 and 25 momme ones).
I am a college student on a budget and wanted to find the best deal for my money. Keeping that in mind, my recommendation is to spend the five extra dollars for 21 momme. The difference is clear and it is definitely $5 better if not more in my opinion. I didn’t see a clear enough difference between 21 and 25 momme to be worth an extra $15 so I ended up keeping the 21 momme which initially based on feel and comfort alone is the best deal of the three for the money without sacrificing quality.
Will have to see how it holds up after washings and over time.

I hate this pillowcase. It is complete TRASH. Not comfortable. Scratchy. Angel, someone who works for the company, tried to say it was due to me buying the Ivory one and not a dyed one which makes no sense. Overpriced. Absolutely unhappy with this order. Will return and begin looking again.

I bought this for my three year old daughter who when told she could have anything she wanted when she potty trained, told me she wanted a soft pillow case like mommy. Well mommy has a REAL silk Slip brand pillowcase and i didn’t think my 3 year old would be a tough sell if it was close. i’d hoped this would be very close (but cheaper) doup. Comparing the two side by side, this thing isn’t just not soft, it’s flat out scratchy. My 3 year old who was so excited instantly ran her hand across it, scrunched her face and said “this isn’t soft, it’s scratchy! This isn’t like yours.” Even my three year old could tell the huge difference in the quality. I was way too busy to send it back so it’s just making do until I buy her a real Slip silk cover. Don’t waste your money buy a Slip silk pillowcase

I have since received Angel Bear’s NEW 22 momme silk pillowcases for comparison to my original order of their 19 Momme. (the Diamond Editions listed here here on same listing with the 19 momme ones). The quality difference here between their old 19 and the new 22 is literally night and day! You can even tell from the picture. (Old 19 Momme is on the right- the New 22 Momme is on left). The thickness, overall softness (yes it’s actually super soft and my now 4.5 year old instantly claimed it!) and quality of the 22 Momme Angel Bear silk case IS comparable to the Slip brand cases. Make sure that you select the Diamond Edition 22 Momme when ordering – that’s the new and greatly improved case- and you will not be disappointed!
