It’s a little tough to drill a 13/16” hole, and I wash I had seen the other review that recommended using a 3/4” hole saw and doing a little filing. No matter, I’m satisfied with my results. Don’t believe that these switches are going to handle any 20 amps, just use a relay for anything about 10 amps or over and you won’t have anything to complain about. They are switches that you can’t find a better price on, and a 20-amp advertised rating requires taking it with a grain of salt. The ones I got operate smoothly and look great. I used them instead of stupid-expensive switches made specifically for an aftermarket Jeep switch panel. I had a little issue with the drill bit walking on the plastic Cutouts for rectangular switches, but will go the hole saw route next time. Big savings!!!

Completely worthless to me.
Rated at 20A? Not a chance.
Had smoke coming out of mine at 10 amps.
Oh, and the LED is out when on, press it in and it’s off. Kinda backwards but that’s not the deal breaker.
The smoke was.
Can’t return them as I destroyed almost half trying to get one that could actually handle even 12A.
C’mon Amazon, since they are sold and shipped by you I thought you would have at least a little quality control over these.
Worth $7? Maybe for a non working movie prop, otherwise, don’t waste your money.

Works correctly with rated loads of electricity, I used mine for a 20 amp air compressor.
Switch is easy to turn on and isn’t stiff or too loose.
Lights on the switch are bright but not blinding
I can’t think of any negatives about these switches. I will be buying more after I use these 12.

Installed to run electric fans on my truck rated at 4.8amps. ive blown through switches trying to use these the switching mechanism breaks internally where it will no longer click on or off, just flops loosely. One even melted and blew a fuse. They act fine for maybe 400 miles and then they start going. using a different brand switch and it fixes the issue. Never again.

I used these in two DC powered lanterns where the original switch failed. The switches work fine although I did not have provision to connect the little LED in the switch. I am also using them at 4.5 and 6 volts at just a couple hundred milliamps and not the “intended” 12 volt and multiple amperage use in automobiles that is advertised. If I have cause to use one in a car or truck I will update (I ordered a set of 12 switches so I still have ten left). I can certainly say that for low current DC applications this is a good product at a good price (as of June 2020).

These are great switches – LEDs are plenty bright without being distracting, the switch action is firm and snappy, and they’re just the right size so they can be packed in tightly and still be easy to use. If you’re planning on using quick disconnects instead of soldering wires directly to the terminals, be aware the terminals are .205″ and not “standard” .250″ you frequently see. Make sure you get the right terminals. The other place .205″ terminals are commonly used is the positive terminal on car audio speakers. The other thing I’d call attention to is the little alignment notch around the shoulder of the switch – it’s there to keep the switch pointed in the right direction. I would consider under-drilling your mounting hole, then use a small file or knife to make that notch to keep the switch in tightly and pointed in the right direction.

No pienses que estos switch son excelentes por que estan barato y por ello no son de calida. Asi que de los 12 switch 3 saldran mal y solo 5 te funcionaran perfectamente.

These switches are easy to install with a 13/16″ hole (use a stepped drill bit) and two or three wires. If you want to use the built in indicator light, hook up the ground (gold terminal). If you don’t care about the indicator light, don’t hook it up and just use it as a two pole power interrupt switch.
I like the low-profile look of this switch.

Debe haber cuatro colores diferentes y tres botones de cada color. Todos llegan juntos en la misma bolsa. Great value for projects and adding accessories to your car, truck or ATV/UTV.
As a rule folks, it is BETTER to have the switch controlling a relay to handle high current loads (like off road lights).
If you install it this way it will last forever.
