This is a great controller and my son loves using it for his switch console on the tv.
Unfortunately after a little over 2 months the controller started to malfunction. Certain buttons wouldn’t respond and there was some sort of glitch/lag happening. We tried to recalibrate and reconnect the wireless connection but nothing worked.
He’s usually careful with his things, rarely dropping them and putting them up properly.
So we contacted the seller even though we were out of the 30 day return policy and they went above and beyond by offering to replace the item.
I will say it does have excellent battery life compared to other controllers and before the malfunction responded really well.
I would definitely recommend the product as it’s easy to hold and use even for someone uncoordinated like myself but I absolutely recommend the seller who helped us out and stands by their product. Thank you.

I have picked up another switch console as a Christmas gift, so now I am buying accessories to give with it. I love the after market controllers, they feel solid in your hand and seem to react better than joy cons. This switch controller paired easily with the console, holds it charge for all day play. Nice and bright colours match my joy cons which is also nice. vibrates, turbo boost, and syncs well after you wake up consol. I don’t play alot but the grandchildren who are under 10 do so, it is nice to be able to get affordable, good controllers they they can abuse, without paying a hundred dollars for each. Works well, worth every penny and I will be buying more accessories. Grab yours while they are available. RECOMMENDED

This is a really impressive 3rd-party controller for $25, and I will definitely be keeping it. The shape is right, all the buttons feel good, and the stick movements are precise. There is one potential issue: the stick movements are actually *so large* that they are fatiguing and a bit hard to control compared to the joycon sticks. It reminds me a bit of the old PS2 dual shock, which I never liked very much. My wife found it MUCH harder to play Mario Kart with this controller, going from 3rd to 12th place, so I got stuck with it. On balance I prefer it to the cramped joycons, but YMMV depending on the game.

Basically: Not much happens when you move the stick a little bit, so it is easy to panic and over-compensate in a game like Mario Kart. It is not because it has a dead zone, it just has a large thumb movement to go from zero to maximum.

So I hate the Switch JoyCon controllers with a passion!!! They are soooo small and tiny for my fingers to work with when playing games! I don’t have large hands, mind you, but i find those JoyCon controllers too small!. With this, although they are not from Nintendo, it works like a charm.

The layouts are the similar to PS4’s controllers, so getting used to them practically takes no time as I am used to PS4’s. The buttons are all very responsive and charging time are pretty quick, ~30mins for full charge. Happy with purchase!

Having used this controller and the “official” Pro controller from Nintendo, there’s no reason I’d ever buy a second “official” Pro controller. This controller has nearly the exact same footprint, the parts that rest in your palms are slightly thicker on this controller (not necessarily a bad thing), as the official one so switching back between the two controllers isn’t an issue. Battery life is pretty great as well. Uses an included USB-C cable to charge it. I was able to play for 3 game heavy days before I needed to recharge it. The only thing that frustrates me is that I wish I had colored joycons so my switch would match. Perfect controller – 5/7 rating hands down.

I purchased two of these controllers. The first was purchased a few months ago, and thankfully I got the warranty on it. It works for a couple months pretty well (not great, but we didn’t have the money for new Joy Con controllers and we have five kids), so I went ahead and purchased another one on a Black Friday type of deal to put away for Christmas. In the meantime, the first one purchased started acting up like crazy with buttons not working and often the controller acting as if you were continuously pushing buttons over and over when you weren’t. I went looking for my protection plan and wound up having to call in to Amazon to find it because it wasn’t within the invoice for the controller but in a separate invoice. They said they would send a replacement. In the meantime, on Christmas, our kids got the new one, and that one came out of the box with the exact same button problem immediately. So I returned the second one for a full refund since that was still within the return window. Upon receiving the brand new controller that was the replacement for the first broken one, the kids tried it out, and that one had the same problem right out of the box. Our kids are all older (ages 21, 19, 17, 13, and almost 11). It was our older kids who tried this one just to be sure it was being used properly, and they were the ones that said that this had the same problem right out of the box when it was “brand new.” This is definitely a time when three strikes says that you are out.

Definitely happy with my decision to get me controller. I already have the pro controller but I needed an extra one and didn’t wanna shell out another $100. For less than half the price I’d gladly choose this. The pro controller looks a little sleeker and is probably more ergonomic but its not like many people are hard-core gaming on a switch anyways. For a 3rd pr 4th controller just so anyone could play this is a no Brainer. Connecting was no issue and had no issue with the controls.

Its pretty much just a reskin of the usual third party switch controllers. Its lighter than the pro controller, but still long enough. You will definitely notice the usual input delay in comparison to joycons, but thats normal. You wont find any third party controllers that dont have it. The buttons themselves are reallllly satisfying to press, and I’m a mechanical keyboard kind of guy too. Its one of the better choices for cheap third party controllers.

I purchase this since joy con drift almost killed me (I purchased replacement parts and that did a pretty good job of solving that issue) and wanted to have a more traditional controller.

What I didn’t expect was it was a little weird having the buttons at a slight angle as compared to the up and down layout of the joy con. But after using the product a little I didn’t even notice it.

At a very decent price and good quality (although it does feel super light for being a full one single unit controller) you can’t go wrong with this purchase. It was super easy to connect and performed all the functions of a joy con including motion control.

All in all I am very happy with this purchase and will probably buy another to have a pair.

Controller play double vibration motor switch. A long-lasting built-in battery lasts over half a day. The controller is uniquely designed, does not need to do too many operations to use just press a switch, the use to play easier. Suitable for everyone from young to old and is a special gift for Christmas or birthday.

Ordered a couple of these for my kids as they were constantly losing their joy cons and these looked like they would be a little easier to keep track of.
Connects easily and works perfectly, no lag and no issues at all. Plays great honestly and I am very happy with the order.
On a side note, I was hopeing it would be a little bigger so I could play with them, but this is still clearly kids size.
Obviously the switch is for kids so not docking a star there… they fit my 3,6,8, and 11 year old hands fine (okay to be real the 3 year just mashes buttons, but it keeps him happy) and all of them loved the new controller, just wish I could find an adult size so I could play too without cramping ky hands up. Either way I can definitely recommend these are perfect.

They each come with half a charger, just the cable portion, the other half you need to go buy to charge them.

Attached some photos to help as well. Last photo showing how small it is to an adults hands though so you can see.

I bought this as a controller for my NS Lite as the analog sticks drift and no longer work in general.

    1. The controller can be paired easily with a device. However, it stays connected to that device until you press the buttons again for pairing. Not really a big issue. It’s better than the pairing method for an NS pro controller.
    2. The placement of the +, home and turbo buttons get me confused sometimes.
    3. It kinda feels hollow and light to use. But then again, it is significantly more affordable than a pro controller.
    4. There’s some issue with the analog sticks. It is responsive, but so jittery. Like it goes everywhere. It’s not meant for games that require precise movements. You will crash into walls or fall down ledges with this.

It’s saving grace though is the turbo button. Kinda great for those games that require repetitive tapping or if you just want to get out of pressing A to move the dialogue faster.
