Lo considero buen producto, no es del todo lo que esperaba ya que a máximo brillo de la pantalla una persona que está a lado tuyo podría ver sin problemas lo que estás haciendo en tu computadora.
Cayo perfecto para mi Dell Latitud de 14 pulgadas y los soportes donde se coloca la pantalla son fáciles de instalar.
Hay otras marcas como 3M que su protectores aun teniendo toda la pantalla con el brillo alto, no deja que otros vean lo que haces.
Para que no se vea nada, tienes que tener tu pantalla con brillo medio a bajo.
emmm!! Si lo recomiendo para aquellos que quieren que sea difícil que otros vean lo que estás haciendo, pero para aquellos que son exigentes y buscan que nada se vea, este producto no será para ustedes.

However that was $60. Worth it and I bought a bigger size so it sticks out on laptop on all 4 sides and I just taped it and it worked out well.
Now, I was going to buy the 3M filter again but when I saw the Targus 4Vu Privacy screen for $21, I couldn’t resist and bought it instead.
It came in a HUGE box and well packed. The screen itself is very nice and the angles claimed are accurate – 30degrees on either side.
However, it doesn’t become as dark as with 3M and there is definite light bleed. You can easily make out what is being shown on screen.
It also has lesser anti glare than 3M.
Overall, I don’t regret this purchase. It is quite good actually. Lighting tests –
– dark room – with no other light, there’s lot of light bleed and people can see what you’re doing even beyond the 30 degrees
– sunny room – the 30degrees holds up very well. Beyond it, it does get dark but not enough. You sort of can see what’ going on but it is quite dark
– the screen also gets dimmer a lot more so you need more brightness setting.
– colors also get muted imo and the pop is missing
– but it works well enough

This serves it’s function. I bought the 23.6″ version and it fit my monitor exactly, so much so that between static and the close fit, I didn’t even have to use any of the included mounting tabs. From angles it definitely blocks out the screen and is perfect for that function which was the main reason I bought it. I knocked off a star because it significantly darkens the screen for me sitting directly in front of it. I have the brightness turned all the way up and it still is a little darker than I’d like. Also, the very edges of my screen start to get darker since they’re viewed at a little more of an angle and it kinda messes with me. Overall though, I’m happy with it and it’s doing what I want it to do which is blocking my screen so the constant stream of people walking past my office can’t see what I’m working on.

Works well. Expensive but worth it if you stare at screen for hours. Bought for anti glare and keeping blue screen intrusion down. Note: instructions aren’t very good. The silicone strips that come with the package are meant to be attached to the side you attach to screen. Attach and remove before pressing on computer screen it leaves a silicone adhesive that’s invisible.

I have two 27″ Thunderbolt Displays and just moved into a new office with floor to ceiling windows and a great view. Due to the office configuration, I am sitting with my back to the windows and the glossy displays were a nightmare due to the glare. I almost couldn’t see the screen. I tried the cheaper film protectors but it was a disaster of air bubbles, so I invested in these. Just installed them and the glare is 100% eliminated. In fact, the privacy screen covers only the display portion, not the borders, so you can see the contrast of the glare of the borders vs. non-glare of the display dramatically. As another reviewer said, I don’t care for the mounting brackets so I plan to use large black rubber bands to strap the screens to the display. I am using small pieces of tape for now and can finally get some work done!
UPDATED: After a few weeks, I still love these. I actually tried the tabs and they were useless, especially on the Thunderbolt displays. The display borders are flush with the display itself, so there is no way to slide the privacy screen into the tab. And when I tried with the slightest pressure they just popped off. I threw them away and went with the large black rubber bands – 2 on the sides and 2 on the top/bottom. This does the trick perfectly, as another reviewer said.
One other note – I was a little disappointed in a few larger air bubbles but noticed you could remove them easily by lifting the screen from the bottom and slowly setting back down. Be sure to clean the screens on both sides with a damp soft cloth to remove smudges and dust.
Once they are clean and affixed they work great.
Finally, be aware that there is a glossy side and a matte side, either of which will work for privacy. But if you want to eliminate glare you’ll need to use the matte side.

This might just be the quickest return I have ever made. I tried the product for 5 min before realizing that every single positive review here must be fake ! The product simply does nothing of what its built for. It at best slightly darkens the image (For you and those on an angle), but by no means gives you privacy, or compares to other models that My colleagues have ! To keep it simple and short, I took photos of the product so you can judge for your self before making a purchase. I posted photos with and without. as well as with screen covering half the computer so you can see the difference.

Love this. I use a co working space and this product gives me reasonable assurance that my confidential work is private. I love the fact that the screen is magnetic and easily removable without any adhesive issues. The MacBook still closes completely even with the privacy screen in place. This is not a black-out screen, in that from a slight angle you can still tell basically what kind of program is on the screen – web, email, or anything else that is recognizable. However it will difficult for others to read any text that may be on the screen. Targus is a reputable brand, the product works as advertised, and the price is good. Win!

I didn’t use this for a laptop but I found another great use for it. You can turn it 90° and cut it to the size of your license plate and it will completely block the view of an overhead toll camera! Would buy it again but it has held up so long so I don’t think I would need another!

I agree with the other review here that this works more like an anti-glare screen with A LITTLE privacy protection. My wife can still see what I’m doing as we are sitting next to each other on the couch (even though I honestly didn’t purchase it to hide what i’m doing from her). It only darkens what is happening on your screen but outlines and images can still can still be seen by others near by (I’ll try to post some images to show what I’m talking about). I thought I’d take a chance with the lower cost privacy screen and I got what I paid for. Not recommended.
UPDATE Dec 2012 – Been using this for a little while now and I’m not as down on this privacy screen as I initially was. I’ve learned two things…(1) The majority of people who come by my computer and try to look at my screen are standing next to me and CANNOT see the screen, and (2) The lighting in the room will play a HUGE effect on the darkening if the screen. At work where there are overhead fluorescent lights SIGNIFICANTLY helps to darken the screen for others. I regularly have people ask me why I’m typing on a blank screen, then they move over to see it.
So instead of spending a ton of money of the other brands, give this one a try. Is it perfect? No. But for the money you’ll be happy and that’s why I updated my review as I think you will be too.
