I would not trust this to carry three, and certainly not six bottles of wine.
It’s really nice and has a cool “old world” look, and since I bought it for my wife for her to carry candle holders, it’s perfect… but for wine bottles, its best use it countertop or bar storage.

Bought this for my BIL for Christmas… he & his wife really liked it. It looks so much better in person (not that it didn’t look good online 😉 Seriously though, It’s very well-made & absolutely looks as though I spent a lot more than I did!!

Overall, these wine holders are cute. Sad part is they’re cheap and flimsy. I certainly wouldn’t hold it by its handle when giving it as a gift in fear the handle would break or the wine would fall out the bottom sending the wine crashing to the floor. Another thing that really disappointed me is that each one is different and unique. No two are alike. One I received was dark with a perfectly centered pattern while the other was extremely light with a stupid looking mishmash pattern. Thankfully the two people I’m giving these two dint know each other and won’t see what the other got because the one that gets the silly looking one will surely be jealous. I dread giving that lighter one away it looks so hideous, but it’s too much of a hassle exchanging the thing. And even if I did do that who’s to say I wouldn’t get another stupid looking one?! Personally, I wouldn’t order these things again. If they all looked the same, maybe as they are cute, but again, who to say you’re not going to get a reject and have the hassles of exchanging the thing or being embarrassed giving it away.

I decided to use it to hide my makeup and still have it on my counter. It’s sturdy and so pretty. Goes perfect in my tropical themed bathroom.

It is a real pity: the structure of these boxes DO NOT SUPPORT the weight of six bottles of wines!
They are REALLY CUTE, but if you are thinking to use them to MOVE BOTTLES, UNFORTUNATELY ARE NOT USEFUL!!!
The nails in the sides and handle start to loose just lifting the box 4 or 5 times; the support plank used to stabilize the superior cover is too thin to support the weight and got broken almost immediately (and even glued again, the lid pushes too hard on the plank, loosens or breaks, causing the lid opened in the most unexpected moment).
CONCLUDING: If you want A BEAUTIFUL BOX to have at home to show your bottles of wines neatly organized, buy these; if you want a STURDY BOX to TRANSPORT your bottles of wines from here to there, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE: your bottles are getting broken in the most inopportune moment (and you will regret not reading this!).

What a pleasant surprise! I purchased this wine box as a 50th wedding anniversary gift for some dear friends. The quality, feel and look of this wine box is exquisite, better than I could have hoped for. The only thing I wish is that it were longer as I will have to watch what size bottle I purchase to put in it…it’s about 3/4 – 1 inch short for the wine bottles in my refridgerator. But, nonetheless, I love it…faux leather, with the world traveler motif is perfect for our friends…it is truly a gift they will treasure for a long time.

Not perfectly put together had to use my tools to clamp the warped piece in the staple. Presentation is beautiful, my wife love it, however for the quality, I should have been a little cheaper, definitely should knock down the price $10.00
