I have been looking for quite some time for a big sized salt shaker to replace the Real salt plastic shaker that accidently got melted and wouldn’t stand up on its own. After looking through all the local stores, I turned to online stores. I almost gave up looking when I found this product.
First, the size is awesome. It holds 22 ounces. That means less refilling. I use this not just to occasionally add salt to food at the dinner table but also to cook with (non-measuring) and over popcorn.
I love the look of it as well. Simple design and in a sleek stainless steel shine. My only complaint is that sometimes if you aren’t careful, the lid can get wedged as you are screwing back on, so be careful. The first time I screwed it back on I ended up having to use a vice grip to take the lid off and try again.
As far as how fast it pours salt out, I think it’s perfect. I was concerned that it may come out too fast but that worry went away after my first use. It does come out faster than a tiny shaker with a few holes but it does not just keep pouring out. You have to keep shaking it for it to keep coming out.
All in all, perfect for what I wanted. I’ve already bought more for friends who also admired it.

 This dredge is perfect for our needs. It is not only sturdy with a larger then average capacity but it looks good as well.

Works well with carpet deodorizer or with powdered sugar.
Has a larger then average holding capacity
It is sturdy(i have had it 2 months with no problems)
Its stainless steel which means the looks will last.

None this product rocks (okay none as of yet)
Overall a great product that I highly recommend!

Alright, so the title is overly dramatic given what we’re talking about, but this is a great dredge, perfect for BBQ dry rubs and the like.
The size is such that you can make up a large batch of rub, toss it in the dredge, use what you need and have plenty left for the next few weekends. Make sure to toss a piece of wax paper over the top of the cannister and then screw the lid down on top when you’re going for storage.
No handle means easier storage in my (and probably your) overly crowded cupboards, stainless steel construction means I don’t have to worry it’s going to break when dropped out in the driveway. The lid screws down nice and tight, so no chance of dumping 22 oz all at once on that nice cut of meat you bought.
All in all a simple tool, but isn’t it nice when they get the simple stuff right?

I originally bought this to hold baking soda even though it’s advertised for parmesan. It cleans well, so whether I am storing baking soda or parmesan, or any other powdered substance that I might need to sprinkle, I can thoroughly clean it before it’s next use. However, the lid doesn’t always reconnect easily. I don’t know if it just wears out or if it’s just not that well of a design.

It’s exactly what I was looking for: Large capacity, tight-fitting (non-leaking) lid, and able to shake out my powdered seasonings in an even manner. I’m very satisfied with it and I’ll get another if I need so in the future. Note: The shaker holes are good for powdered and small granuled seasonings. I would not use this for larger flakes or dried herb seasonings. Also, it would be nice if it came with a plastic lid cover to keep out moisture. I had one from a previous shaker that fit just fine, so I used that.

This thing is awful. I’ve had it only about two months, and the outside is starting to rust. I wish I would have looked around more and found one made of glass or plastic instead.

Purchased this to use with Diatomaceous Earth to sprinkle around the outside of my house to deter insects from nesting. I like being able to fill it once and am able to go completely around the house without the need to refill it. Highly recommend.

I am trying to be more green in my house cleaning approach and was looking for a way to use baking soda without wasting it by it plopping in bunches on my sink/tub. I searched and searched and glad that I was led to this since I did not know it was called a drege! This is perfect for shaking it out and does exactly what I need it to. Quality material and workmanship too and expecting it to last a long time!!
