Great to carry around your Switch without fear of damage. I have a USB-C cable, Samsung power adapter, HDMI cable (6ft), Joycon wrist straps, and the FastSnail HDMI Type C Hub Adapter so I can play on the big screen. I think I can fit one more pair of Joycons (and straps) so i can get 4 player Mario cart. With all that stuff in this case, there is little to no pressure on the Switch. But you can’t just through it all in, you need to purposefully place the items to make sure there is no pressure on the screen or joysticks. Tempered glass screen protector and the case flap help with protecting the screen from the small amount of pressure.
Update: Picture showing the 6ft usb-c cable, set of blue Joycons, 4 Joycon wrist straps, FastSnail HDMI Type C Hub Adapter, Samsung power adapter, 6ft HDMI cable, and the Nintendo switch with red Joycons and tempered glass screen protector. Snug fit, but very little pressure on the switch.

The materials for this case are simply poor quality, I feel like I can snap it in half if I bend it slightly. I bought a cheaper hard case from a different brand that felt much better but didn’t have room for the switch controllers to remain attached, but I’m going back to it because I don’t feel comfortable with the durability of this case. For example, the zipper is so poorly attached I see the thread already unraveling that attaches it to the case and I just got it. When you do zip it, it feels very uneven and unsturdy. I’m genuinely surprised at the poor quality.
UPDATE: 5/1/17-
After my poor review, Nina from Orzly reached out to me and asked me to describe the issues I had with the case – she quickly determined that the quality did not meet their standards and sent me a replacement from England (I’m in NYC US) – I just received the new case and its far better quality, no more string sticking out, the zippers are on straight and the two sides are perfectly symmetrical – feels like a completely different product. Maybe they had a bad batch, but this current case is great and I would now highly recommend it – not to mention this appears to be a company that stands behind their products. Thanks Nina and Orzly.

I’ve been using this for just over a week and this case is superb. I have filled it with my switch console – complete with joycon, shell casing and screen protector. As well as my RavPower 26800 and cable, and an additional charger and cable for my phone.
It would easly pack in an extra set of joycon (or two), but doesn’t fit the pro controller or joycon grip. You can comfortably fit in-ear headphones, mobile phones, or flat/foldable accessories for switch in to the top part.
The outer case is solid, and has a great feel to it while being descrete. It is a functional case rather than a stylish one. There is a very sturdy feeling handle on the folding edge of the case with a rubber grip, and a nice outer zip. There is unfortunately no way to lock the zipper if this is something you might need.
Inside there is a net pocket for holding the aforementioned accessories and a space for your switch which has some great elastic strips to secure the switch in place so it doesn’t ‘float around’ inside. The two halves are separated by a felt covered divider, this has space for 8 game cartridges on the accessory pocket side. This doubles as a protector for your screen so it never gets scratched by the accessories.
I am really happy with this case, it is exactly what any switch owner would need for trips away.

This is a good case for the price, and I have no issues with it in that regard – it does have a slight smell but you have to get pretty close to smell it, so thats not much of an issue. The main problem I have is when I put my Joycons in the holder (which is the main reason I bought the case, I wanted to transport my Joycons easier) and I also put in some cartridges. Well, I decided to play a game or two and when I opened it, I noticed that because of how the case is spaced, and where the games are in that, it had dented the rubber on one of my left Joycons. The reason for this is I assume that the padding underneath the console itself makes the case more cramped than it needs to be – if it was lower, it would probably solve this issue just fine. (Edit: Even without the games in these slots the rubber gets dented, along with the mesh holding them in – definitely a spacing issue) As is, if you want a case to transport your console and Joycons, this is a decent option if you’re careful with it.

This case is good, but struggles to pack certain features that other cases in this price range do, fitting extra joycons into the top pocket was a struggle and left me feeling like I was crushing the switch when I closed the case.
It is also near impossible to tell which side is the top when you open the case, and would often end up opening it upside down, a logo on the top would have been nice.
Also since there is no zip on the accessories compartment, I often opened my case to find the joycon straps and usb charging cable sprawled over the top of my switch

Having bought an expensive Nintendo Switch for my 5 year old son I then faced the problem of making sure it wasn’t going go get damaged. After spending a long time looking at different cases I eventually settled on the Orzly carry case based on previous reviews. Thankfully I wasn’t disspointed! The case is everything I needed it to be, firstly its made of a strong durable material which is nice to touch and its got a sturdy carry handle on the top. The zip is high quality, no snagging or not opening properly. Inside the case is lined with a soft material to protect your device and has a specific area for the switch with two elasticated straps. There is then a flap which folds over to protect the screen which doubles up as a game holder and there is another mesh area which you can put all your extra bits in like chargers etc. So far it’s stood the test of time, its been to the USA and to Turkey and the switch is still in perfect condition. It gets used by my son on a regular basis and I would say its an essential must have item if you have a switch. Don’t hesitate, this is top quality and fairly priced.

This is a great case for the money, it all depends on what you want to carry with you. I don’t have much now to haul but I have a few games and of course the Nintendo Switch with a pretty bulky case and guess what? It fits with it on it. That’s the main thing I was looking for. It is the Mumba case which I also love. Fits small accessories as well but nothing big such as a charger or the small controller thst came with the console. Otherwise all is great like others have said. Good quality, pretty tough shell and good storage like the others.

I have been using this Orzly Carry case for the Nintendo Switch for more than 2 months. It has held up very well so far. I highly recommend getting a case for the Switch, since its an expensive game console, and is susceptible to damage (Especially on the screen and joysticks) easily if not stored properly. I use it to carry around in my backpack and use it almost daily.
Pros:
a). Good amount of storage, can easily carry a Switch and additional accessories like a charger, cable and joy-con straps
b). Has a dedicated flap to protect the delicate screen and also has 8 slots for placing Game Cards
c). Build quality is nice and sturdy, the case itself seems like it will last for years and will protect from minor impacts and drops.
d). Easy to carry with a suit case like handle.
Cons:
a). The zippers are not Orzly branded, as shown in the product photos, not sure if they’ll last as long as the case.
Not much else in terms of negative points, at this price (INR 999) when I bought.
Delivery: Prime Delivery, great as always. Received the item within 2 days of placing the order. Item came well packed with original box and no damage inside.
In my opinion, you must get this or any case for your Switch as its necessary for protection and longevity.

I ordered this specific case as it is from “Orzly” and i’ve recently come to see them as a reputable brand, especially after buying their protective glass for the Switch. However this case so far has been lower than my expectations.
There’s a strange factory smell that makes me feel as though It’s going to give me respiratory problems I hope this passes with time, and if it does I will update the review to be more than the current amount of stars. The case also has a branding of “X-Dragon” which maybe I was to blind to have not have noticed but wasn’t advertised / shown in any of the pictures? I would have expected an “Orzly” branding if anything (which I would have been fine with) but the current one leads me to believe that there may have been a mistake in delivery?
As for the durability of the case, so far it seems good. I haven’t actually used it to leave the house yet, but I’m sure it will do the job just fine – assuming I keep this case as the smell is terrible.

Overall, this is a very serviceable case and is capable of carrying everything I would expect for a portable experience with the Nintendo Switch. The case has a solid-feeling hard rubber black shell with two zippers a molded section for the Switch and attached joycons and an accessories pocket. The case also has a handy carrying handle on the spine of the shell with a molded rubber grip.
The Switch console section of the case also has two elastic bands to hold the console in place when the case is opened. There’s a middle section of the case that covers just the screen area to protect it from damage from anything you might put in the other pocket, and that section doubles as game card storage with small slots for game cards. However, there is no storage for any extra microSD cards you may carry. This isn’t a huge deal breaker, as you could theoretically put one in a game card slot (the mesh on the slots is fine enough that a microSD card won’t fall through).
The accessories pocket that sits opposite the console has a mesh and elastic netting which holds the accessories in place. However, since this mesh covers only about 2/3rds of the pocket area, I have found that how you place your accessories in this pocket will determine whether everything stays in place when you open the case or whether you have to go fishing for things that fall out. On a plane especially, this is critically important. That said, I’m able to comfortably fit two extra joycons (with side covers), the side covers for the joycons currently attached to the Switch console and the power adapter provided by Nintendo in the accessories pocket.
On the subject of opening the case- since there are no distinctive markings on the outside rubber shell of the case and the case exterior appears symmetrical, it’s easy to open the case upside down and accidentally drop accessories out. My personal solution to this is to always zip the zipper from right to left when closing (since there are two, you can theoretically go any direction you like). Since I have adopted that as a convention, I always know the case is right-side-up if the handle is in the back, the zipper is closed and the zipper heads are on the left side of the case. This is a minor annoyance at first; but, once you get familiar with the case design, I imagine everyone will instinctively know the direction the typically zip it on closing.
In addition, while it wasn’t difficult at all to close the case and zip it with all my accessories inside, I did notice the seam showing when the case was closed. This seems to be okay and upon initial testing doesn’t seem to portend weakness in the construction of the case; but, only time will tell. I’m a lighter user of the portable mode of the Switch; but, if I find that the seam starts pulling apart later, I’ll come back to update my review and let Orzly know of the potential defect.
Finally, one other thing to note is that the case smells VERY strongly of plastic when first opened. Even as an electronics enthusiast who likes the smell of new electronics (hooray for Pavlovian training), the smell is a little overpowering at first. I left the case open the first day I owned it, since I wasn’t travelling and didn’t yet need to use it and the smell has mostly dissipated.
Pros:
– Comfortably fits everything necessary for table-top portable mode play
– Console protected from accessories by screen shield
– Game storage in screen shield
– Molded console pocket and elastic straps hold console firmly in place
– Tough feeling shell, seems durable
– Comfortable handle for convenient carrying
Cons:
– Accessories pocket not covered enough by mesh to prevent accessories from falling out without being careful about how they are inserted
– Symmetric exterior design makes it easy to open the case upside down, making dumping the accessories more of a risk
– No storage dedicated to microSD cards (though the game card slots could double as a microSD card slots)
– Strong plastic smell for a few hours upon initial opening
– Flat black exterior design is functional but not as attractive as some other cases
Verdict- all in all, I’m pleased. The case is inexpensive and so far seems up to the task of holding everything you need to enjoy gaming on the go. The simple flat black design leaves something to be desired aesthetically; but, the functional interior of the case makes up for this flaw, especially considering the good price.
