I bought this to replace a Dyson, and it’s not even close. This vacuum does a good job on the one room I have with wall-to-wall carpet. That’s the only positive. It’s top heavy and you need three hands to operate the attachments. The canister is ridiculously small, and the fill line is only an inch or two from the bottom, so you have to empty it constantly throughout the process. The cord is short—I can’t vacuum the length of my family room—and mounted low so I step on it or roll over it constantly. And it can’t pick up cat litter or pine needles on tile or hardwood—it just endlessly flings them around. I don’t know how they managed to design this so poorly. I really wish I had invested in another Dyson.

Absolutely LOVE this vacuum! Great suction, long cord, easy operation. Does well with pet hair (border collie and cat) and long human hair too. Easy to switch from bare floor to carpet, easy to detach cannister, and easy to clean. The tall upright handle and all the attachments are excellent.

The vacuum, when working, is great. Plenty of suction and it’s light and easy to maneuver. I would have given it 5 stars because it totally met my expectations…BUT (you knew that was coming, right?)…the roller brush stopped spinning after a couple of months and very infrequent use. Thank goodness for the internet/YouTube because after a quick search for others with this problem, I found a video with the issue listed and the fix for it. The issue is a pressure switch gone bad. This is NOT covered by warranty so it was up to me to either throw it away or fix it. To fix it…I needed to purchase a set of Torx Security Head bits and they needed to be extra long so this is a good one to purchase for this: (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MFGRZIA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Anyway, I tore apart the vacuum per the video (lots of hidden screws) and just removed the pressure switch and spliced the wires together to be “always on”. “Always on” simply means that the roller brush will keep spinning even in the locked upright position. Not even a bother and I would prefer that than having the switch go bad again.

Obviously…this taints my whole review but if there’s a YouTube video with a fix…it means this is happening more than a few times. Hence the crappy review.

So far this vacuum is doing a good job on both bare floors and carpeting. Doing the stairs was easier than I had expected, and emptying the canister is fairly simple! However, I don’t like the power cord being attached to the bottom of the vacuum near the floor; it is inconvenient to hold it up and away from the vacuuming area, and easy to trip over while working with the unit! Overall, the product is pretty good for the money.

I really like it! It’s light, easy to maneuver, easy to clean and boy, my carpets have never been cleaner. I agree with other reviews that the canister won’t stand up on its own and the hose is quite heavy. I would like a longer angled attachment for corners and doing around baseboards.

I purchased this vacuum to replace an older, bulkier vacuum that had lost suction.

So far this little vacuum has been amazing.

When it arrived and I took it out of the box, I was a little apprehensive when I saw how narrow the vacuum was. My first thought was that I was going to have to do so much more work to get my floors clean.

The vacuum arrived in several large pieces, so I used the manual to get it all put together. It only took a couple minutes, and was not difficult.

After I got it all put together, I read through all the features and how to use them. You can detach the canister from the roller base, in order to clean stairs, or other awkward places. It is definitely helpful on stairs. The one thing I do want to note though, is that my stairs are carpeted, and the detached canister did not sit well on the carpeted stairs, and I had to use my knee to make sure it didn’t tip over and tumble down the stairs.

There is an upholstery attachment with a roller that spins when attached to wand and vacuum is on. This is good for the stairs as well. There is also a very long, extendible thin wand that is mean to help clean under couches and large furniture. There is also a crevice tool.

This vacuum is significantly lighter than my previous vacuum, and pivots and turns incredibly easily. This vacuum also has very powerful suction, and almost makes it seem like it is self propelled. You can also adjust the suction if you are vacuuming a thick carpet, or an area rug, and are trying to keep the vacuum from grabbing onto your carpet.

The first time I used this vacuum, it had only been a couple days since i had vacuumed with my old vacuum, but I filled an entire canister just vacuuming my living room and dining room area rugs, and my stairs. The canister is a little smaller than my old vacuum, but if it does a significantly better job, I can handle emptying it a little more frequently.

I am very happy with my purchase so far.

If you found my review helpful, I would love it if you would click yes.

I had an old Shark vacuum that I’ve used for almost 8 years and it finally stopped working. It’s at a similar price as this one.
I bought a cheaper one earlier (Shark Navigator® Lift-Away® ADV Upright Vacuum (LA301C)), only to find out it’s a defect within the first week. It also had a heavily burnt plastic smell.
I returned that one and bought this one, which seemed to work fine for 2 months. Then the day came it malfunctioned. I guess I’ll have to find a different brand.

I have a 1500 SF condo apartment. The vacuum suction power is good and cleaning is very easy. but has a few glaring problems that i didn’t see mentioned when i read the reviews prior to purchasing.
    1) the head is very heavy, and difficult to maneuver. sometimes it would hit the corner of my cabinets and because it has a lot of momentum, it would damage it. Also the large unit makes it difficult to go under tables, and would damage chair legs.
    2) the air vent is directly infront of the vacuum and as you push the vacuum back and forth, sometimes the air vent will be directed to your face. nothing worse than a face full of hot air (at least you know the filter works).
    3) the handle is curved, so when you put on the attachments, it’s actually very difficult to use on a flat surface. i know this may be confusing, but basically the handle is curved and is a solid piece of plastic. so when you put on a small attachment head, and try to say vacuum a couch, the handle will hit the couch.

Overall it’s not a terrible vacuum, but i would not buy again. If i could return it, I would.
