I purchased this item November 3, 2020. Today is February 16, 2021 and this clock no longer works. The warranty on this product is only 30 days. It lasted a little longer than 90 days.
UPDATE: I posted the above review and did say this clock was out of warranty. Three days later USCCE notified me they were replacing the clock and the replacement had already been shipped! I received the new clock two days later and it is working properly. This company does stand behind their products.

When looking for an alarm clock, I was looking for something simple and not too large. Even though the numbers are large, the brightness can be controlled. The display can actually be turned off completely. It is simple to use – but you should look at the instructions. To set the alarm, you have to hold the set button for a few seconds. You can even set it in a reverse direction; if it is set for 6:30am, you can go back to 6:15am, without going around for 24 hours. I have not seen this on other alarm clocks. That one item is all I needed from the instructions. I have not had it very long, but I do not think there will be any problems.

Finally, a well-engineered, simple alarm clock with a small footprint! I love the brightness and volume control, and the sound choices are great. Easy to set up and SO much better than the typical rude blaring bleat in the morning, and a relief to be able to turn down the brightness at night. Kudos to the folks who made this clock!

Nicely designed, sensible. I’m getting one or two more, using a “25% off your next order” coupon they enclosed.
PROs:
– The precise dimming is great. Goes even below 1% brightness.
– Consumes 0.00 watts (unmeasurable) according to my meter. Saves me $3 per year vs my old clock.
– White numbers (1.3” tall) are pleasant and not too geeky or tacky.
– Clean, simple look. Even better if you sand “USCCE” off the front.
– 2 year warranty (if you register) is confirmed by email, stating expiration date. Nice!
– All buttons are labeled with easy-to-read white lettering. Nice!
– Email for warranty & support is silkscreened onto the bottom of the clock
OKs:
– Clear, complete owner manual
– The dots do not blink, as on some other clocks
– Nice price when $15
Nit Picks:
– Wall-wart plug. Might crowd other outlets.
– The alarm sounds are maybe a little tinny, not ideal.
– CR2032 button battery (for backup) is a very common & inexpensive size, but AA would have been nicer.
– Display and alarm do not work during power outage (this is typical).
– Clock is very light (5.7 oz.). Some heft would plant it more nicely on your nightstand.

My iHome clock which docked my iPhone just died and I wanted something very simple and economical to replace it. This clock certainly meets my needs and I’m very pleased. The control buttons are very simple to use. The display is large, white on black background yet can be dimmed to off. The alarm has 5 choices of sounds with good volume control. The body is small and sleek and has a USB port for charging my iPhone overnight and being able to use the alarm feature on the phone for added selection of sounds. And it does have a snooze bar. I would recommend this clock to anyone who is not looking for bells and whistles for a high price and just needs a reliable alarm clock very reasonably priced.

The alarm clock itself is good. It has 5 alarm sound to choose from, which are ok. Brightness and volume controls are great. The only issue we had was that the USB port doesn’t always work. Sometime it will charge a phone fine and sometimes it won’t… which is a bummer. Maybe ours i faulty ? Other than that, great little clock!

For years we had a an alarm clock that lite the room like another sun… I hesitated to buy another for fear I would end up with a similar problem.
This clock has great readability and the capability to adjust the dim to ones liking. Quality build and the built in USB charging port is a nice addition.

I had read on other reviews that (A) the Brightness wasn’t as advertised. So that was the first thing I checked. It does, in fact, range from very bright to completely dark … full range. And (B) there was no display. The “fix” was given to “Try turning up the brightness.” Now, I don’t know if it’s always been there, but there was a plastic removable message covering the display to “Check to make sure the brightness control was all the way up before turning on.” There is no way anyone could miss this notice. I also really like the clock display being white over black. I find it much easier to read than Red or Blue with no eye strain. The brightness can be turned way down and the display is still very easy to read. This appears to be very well constructed. If I find any issues with the clock, I’ll add them here, but for now, it’s the BEST small clock I’ve ever had. I plan to buy some more in the future!! One other thing, a few days after I received this clock, I received a very nice note from the manufacturer asking my opinions and giving details of how to handle any problems I might have. That impressed me. I highly recommend this clock and the company!

First, let me just say, WOW! I received this clock today (November 2019) and upon first impression:
1. Adjustable brightness!! This is probably my favorite feature on this clock. I’m a person with vision loss, which makes it difficult with some products out there. This clock, however, allows me to make the numbers VERY bright OR very dim! (You can even turn the light off that displays the numbers).
2. It’s small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of space on my nightstand.
3. Love the ability to adjust the volume for the alarm AND the five alarm sound options.
4. It has a cord for power, so I don’t have to worry about batteries.
5. I have added two photos, so you can see it in a dark room. The dimly lit photo is NOT as dim as it gets, but you get the idea….
6. Incredibly easy to set the time and alarms. Didn’t even need to read the tiny instruction book (thankfully- being visually impaired and all).
7. Did I mention how easy the number display is to see?!? It is the perfect size for my needs.
After a little time with this clock, I will update my review as needed.
