These are perfect for lots of walking and for wet areas. No toe protection obviously but these are great sandals. I have another pair bought several years ago that I love and they are still in great condition.

Too bad they don’t have half sizes, I’m a 8.5 in converse so I opted for the 8 in these sandals and if you look at the pic my toes are right at the edge. Maybe get the bigger size when in doubt. They seem very comfortable, I chose them because I met a woman in Peru who said she walked everywhere with them and swore by them. Hopefully they serve me just as well!

Very comfortable. Easy to adjust straps. Great all around sport sandal. I wanted sandals that I could wear hiking, get wet at the lake, comfortable yet pretty. Love my new sandals!

The colour Boysenberry is gorgeous and vibrant and the straps are very elegant and felt secure. The 8W fit like a glove for my large 7.5W feet – there was enough straps length for me. But I RETURNED THEM because they were NOT COMFY : the plastic loop was rubbing on my smaller toes.
I bought them with the Teva Verra sandals in Purple Orchid and keep the Verra instead since the Verra model was very comfy, even if not as pretty.

The best walking sandals I have had. Light, comfortable, good sole, good arch support, easy to wear, easy to clean.

After reading other reviews I was hesitant to purchase themis sandal. The part about the pain on the toe had me on the fence. But I saw someone else post they had no issues. So I went ahead and ordered. I fell in love with the fit and the look! But sure enough after a test walk they are rubbing on my pinkie toes as well!! I’ve tried putting some sports tape under the area where the strap meets the clip with minimal success. Not sure where I’m at with what to do at this point. 🙁

Bought these as a replacement for a similar par of teva sandals and so far very happy with them. They look great and are more dressy than the normal models, extremely comfortable and go with pretty much everything, an excellent design.

I am so disappointed because these shoes looked so comfortable and I was excited to see that they are cute AND sporty.
Unfortunately, they have this little piece of plastic as a connector between the front straps that rub on my smallest toe and are painful. This is unacceptable for a sports sandal. I can not wear them while hiking or walking long distances because they hurt too much.
I haven’t seen anyone else complain about this, so maybe the pain depends on where the plastic part lands on your foot. They dont sell half sizes though, so you may have to just try them and send them back if they hurt.

I’m returning. I have the older version of this sandal that I’ve worn for YEARS and i was looking to replace them. In this new version, the plastic bit holding the straps together by the pinky toe is just painful. It’s much larger than the previous version.

I bought these for my daughter and replacements for the pair the had as alas, the dog (a puppy) chewed her last pair up! She has had Shoes by Teva before and this pair was one of her favorites. They are comfortable, help her back pain (she teaches all day and is on her feet for most of it) and loves the style.
Other than the dog problem, these shoes wear quite well and even though they look rather delicate for a sandal, they and amazingly resilient. I suppose it all depend upon the book but she has had no foot pain, i.e. blisters and such even after extended periods of wear.
She is quite happy with these thing.

I had and loved the Teva Zirra sandal, and I wore them till they completely fell apart. A friend had these and she said they were great Zirra replacements, so I went ahead and ordered these.
Ugh, disappointing. The plastic piece so many others complain about really did hurt my foot so bad. Even just walking around my house for a few minutes, I could see my foot turning red and getting painful. They are cute and the sole was comfortable, but I couldn’t keep them knowing how painful that piece was. Teva, why not just bring the Zirra back? Everyone loved it!

I was looking for a walking sandals to go to walk with my son, I mean 1-1.5 hours walk, I was looking on Chaco, but boy the are heavy, my husband suggested I tried Teva, as he has a pair for last 4 years and he loves it, so I did buy these and they work great, super light, looks cute and very comfortable, I went for 1.5 hour walk and they were great, really like this purchase

So, I lost my 2015 Zirra Tevas, so I thought. In my dismay, I searched for a replacement and discovered they no longer make that model. After reading the reviews on the newer model, I was a bit concerned. After I received my new strappy Tevas, I found my old pair in my Jeep that my son has taken over! Imagine my joy!! So, the 2015 Tevas are an 8 1/2 and fit perfect, but the new ones don’t give you a 1/2 size choice. I wear between an 8 1/2-9 shoe so I went with the 9.
I live in rural Northern Nevada and love to hike our dusty, rocky, steep canyons. I took these newbies on a 3-mike hike this afternoon and they didn’t miss a beat. I have wide feet and there was no rubbing on my toes in any way all the way up or all the way down!!!
I know my feet are dirty in the pic…but hey…us rural Nevadans aren’t afraid of getting dirty!!!
