In the description of this item it was clearly stated that a 6 amp hour battery would be provided. After opening the box, I discovered that the battery is only rated for 4 amp hours. *update – Amazon gave me a 20% credit to make up for the incorrect battery. If not for the packing error, I would have given the mower 5 stars. It’s easy to use and cuts grass very well. The only drawback is that, for an average size lawn, 1- 4.0 amp hour battery will only get half the job done. I will definitely need to purchase another battery to double the run time.

Good torque. Good design. I use my ML400 at least twice a week. It’s light-weight and easily packed on my trailer for every job.

I am pleased with my purchase of the Oregon LM400 cordless mower. It cuts clean, and mulches the clippings very well. Run time is good. I would recommend using 6.0Ah batteries. Two 6.0Ah batteries does my typical subdivision yard on mulch setting. I have other Oregon tools, so I share batteries. I would recommend sharpening the new blade before using. Remove the paint off the cutting edge, for a clean cut.

Very easy to use. Has space for two batteries for extra long run time. Takes little effort to push it along. Thought I needed a self propelled mower, but after using the LM400, I no longer feel that way. Has several height adjustment levels. Glad I got rid of my gas powered mower. Have several other Oregon 40V tools, and love everyone of them. Only need one set of batteries for all their tools. Very cost effective system.

This thing is super light weight and easy to push and maneuver. The deck height is super easy to adjust on the fly to avoid scalping edges but still get a nice close cut. It bags even slightly damp grass pretty well. Powerful enough motor that it almost sounds like a gas mower when it spins up, and it cuts with ease. One thing it does not do well, is provide much lift for grass blades laying down, or picking up plant debris in the yard. I know it’s not a vacuum, but gas mowers I’ve used in the past did better at lifting up grass to be cut and sucking up anything not rooted down and throwing it in the bag.
