I almost let the bad reviews prevent me from buying this chat communicator. Had I done that, I’d not have discovered this is actually, hands-down, the best chat communicator available. I’ve gone through 4 other headsets trying to find one that isn’t complete garbage. Once I followed the instructions in the box which said to turn up all Xbox volume levels, the loudest setting is actually far TOO loud – as opposed to the reviews from idiots saying it’s far too quiet.
The ear cup is actually comfortable, and this is something I have trouble with quite frequently with all kinds of headphones. I love that it’s an open back as I require this for an optimal audio experience in my 7.1 theatre system.

Just purchased this for daily use on my Dell and Asus laptops for online teaching. Unfortunately, the microphone does not work on my Dell business laptop, the 3.5 only works as an output (Update: works on my gaming laptop). Very unfortunate, as the description at the top of the page says it will work with a computer (just not any computer). On my cell it works great, but I didn’t actually need it for that.
UPDATE: After one week of use I actually love this inexpensive headset for my cell phone. Additionally, my Asus Tuf runs this headset flawlessly. For that reason I have upgraded my review. For what it is and what it was designed to do, the headset it pretty nice. I have grown to love the easy turn volume and push mute on the headset. I absolutely love the red light notification on the mic boom to tell you when its muted (not sure I could live without that now). So, for what it is and what it is designed for I give this headset a 4.5 star review. Its only not a five because the audio is pretty low, but again, that is expected out of a open back headset. Lucid, you have a new customer and a return customer.
@LucidSound please make a USB version 🙂 of this exact headset.

I actually use these on pc. I don’t like both ears covered, and these had a great price. I’ve had them a few months and use them every night to play games with friends. I use these strictly to play and have conversations through my computer but it works great. I highly recommend these to anyone who prefers to have one ear free.

It’s much smaller in person than the pics. It doesn’t fit on ear very well and is discomfort after 20min. The sound quality is rather poor. And the mic picks up too much ambient sounds. The controls to change volume and mute is a cheap plastic dial on the ear piece. And people constantly say I’m cracking up or have a buzz.
I’ll cheap them as a emergency pair if my RIG monos break

This worked very well with no issues and ultimately worth the price, although the mute button felt a little cheap (it did work though). I was told that I sounded quite different on this headset over others but that didn’t bother me as my incoming sound was fine. I tried several other on-ear single headsets and I ended up using another headset mainly due to this reason but otherwise, this one worked fine.

I bought this to use with a Xbox one and it is way better than I was expecting. I would like to address some things in the comments that would really help your choice. First off the quality is top notch for this price range and higher. The ear pad is a woven fabric not plastic leather that tends to split crack and flake, the Fabrice is also cooler(temp wise on your ear). Sound quality is great once I realized it is directional. I’m not sure if this is noise canceling but I believe it so I at first was talking into the wrong side. Right from the start it wasn’t working or so I thought so I did what I never do, I read the instructions! Nice booklet with a qr code option. So for people on Xbox you have some menue options to turn on first. The instructions made it very clear once I followed that it worked great. My enjoyment actually grew and grew with this headset as I keep using it. To clear up can you hear game audio or just chat? well that’s up to you the chat mixer option in the menue dose just that so set it to what you want. The head set outer wheel that has the LS logo is the volume knob. The volume is not a issues at all, as mentioned before options on the x box. I have it all the way up on x box and keep it half on the unit and it’s loud and clear. But volume should not be a concern. That logo on the side is also the mute button, it isn’t a hard tactical detent so at first I didnt like it. I originally kept muting and not knowing till I realized that the top of the mic has a red indicator light!!!!!!! Head feel off mind blown at that point! Remember I was talking into the wrong side? Well the light is on top… Obviously so you can see it. I couldn’t believe I got all that for the price, i thought I don’t want the best but I don’t want cheap and I worried about the price and what would come in the box. I got more than I paid for and would and am recommending this to everyone! Definitely the most satisfied I could be with this. Great product.

I just needed a headset – that’s why I purchased a cheaper one. I was pleasantly surprised with this headset and I always enjoy the models that only have one ear-piece. The sound comes through clearly and the microphone works great. I strongly recommend.
I give this product 9 high-pitched screeching kids out of 10.

UPDATE: after additional usage for longer play sessions of 3-4 hours, the tightness on my head was unbearable and I started to develop what felt like tension headache. I ended up using my Microsoft headset and it was much more comfortable. The issue isn’t the weight but the width. the headband was just too narrow and adjusting the length did nothing to improve that. Best to see if you can try it in store before buying. Regretfully I’m returning this.
I got this to replace the factory Microsoft chat headset. The sound quality from the ear piece is much better than the stock one and the microphone output quality is also better and clearer according to my listeners. The build quality is ok but about what you would expect for it’s the price. Functionally the volume and mute button on the side round bezel is great but the rotary bezel is very loose and frictionless and feels super cheap. It can also easily lose it’s place if you even gently brush up against it. Mute button is in the center of the dial and lights up a red LED on the mic tip to indicate its status. Comfort is ok. The large ear pad is great but my head is perhaps somewhat wide and there is a bit too much pressure on the headband end against my head. It doesn’t hurt per se but it’s a bit more snug that I’d prefer. Maybe it will loosen or soften with more use.

The quality is fine, microphone is clear. I like the mute indicator light and sliding volume control on earpiece.
However, even with the volume cranked all of the way up on the headset, I can’t hear people. I thought others just had quiet mics at first, but they could hear each other just fine. I have to strain to hear normal conversation, which renders it almost useless for me. Didn’t have this issue with old headset, so it isn’t me losing my hearing either lol!

This is a great sounding headset. I have had no complaints with the sound of others and I have had no one complain about the quality of my sound on their end. The mute and volume are all controlled very simply on the ear piece. I would definitely recommend these for any one who is looking for a quality inexpensive chat only headset.
