I am super bummed! I do not believe these are actually Reef flip flops. Pretty sure they are knock offs. I have a pair of these same flip flops (sz 8) and bought these to replace my worn out reefs (have had them for years). These are way too small and take a look at the reef logo on the sandal strap. I will be returning these and buying from the reef website.

These are fabulous sturdy and stunning flip flops as described. However in the U.K. I’m usually a size 5/6 and I ordered a 7 in these based on experience with this brand here in uk which still proved to be accurate as the sizing is slightly different to ours (whether purchased in uk or online). So suggest ordering a size up for that perfect fit.

I gave these three stars because they are still incredibly comfortable; however, the manufacturer has changed the shape and sizing.
This is the third pair I’ve purchased because they are my favorite, most comfortable, go-with-everything flip-flops. I always get a size 7 and my feet are a little bit wide. The 7’s always fit great. This time, though, my heel is right at the edge. Also, they cut the foot on bed on this weird slant that make them too narrow now. My outer foot hangs over the side. I’m 5’7″ and 140 pounds, so it’s not a weight issue – it’s definitely a change in the way they are made. I’m really disappointed because I would have the same problem if I sized up to a size 8 — they would be too narrow.

I have narrow feet. I am a size 5, just. Ordered a size 5. And the flip flops are too small. It is written “4.5” on the tag, US 7. I have to send back and get another pair. Annoyed

I purchased this “same” pair of Reef’s at a local retailer over 2 years ago and love them…I mean LOVE them. I wear them daily and they’ve held up wonderfully and retained cushion and looks even with that much wear. I decided it was time to replace this pair with a new one so I ordered these off of Amazon. So disappointed. If these are real Reef sandals, then Reef has redesigned these shoes and not for the better. They are very narrow with NO cushion. Hard as rocks. Sadly they have been returned.

I love these flip flops. I have had them in many different colors. I like that they don’t have such a wide thong strap and look feminine. They have a nice metallic thread on the top strap that gives them a little bit of extra pizzaz making them a nice addition to packing light on a vacation as they will go nicely with dresses and shorts alike. The cushioned footbed makes them super comfy and exactly what I look for in a nice flip flop. The quality will not disappoint. I was happy to find these again this year.

I would recommend ordering a size bigger than your regular shoe size as they are small fitting. The top fabric is quite tight and rubs a bit, however I’m hoping that these will stretch as they are worn more often.

I bought these as my previous ones had worn out after a number of years. But this pair leave a dye on the soles of my feet so do not seem as good quality although they are the exact same brand and colour as my first pair. Quite disappointed. Due to the COVID-19 situation I am unable to go out to return them.

Update: Reading more reviews it sounds like the manufacturer made a change to the design which makes it apparent why my shoes are smaller than the two other pairs I’ve bought. Very disappointed in the cost savings structure. You cannot skimp on performance or you will lose customers!
I am normally a 6.5 but bought a 7 because 6.5 was unavailable and I’ve always loved my reef sandals. This would be my 3rd pair. These are extremely tight between my toes and are shorter than a size 7 would fit. I would say they fit more like a size 6. I thought they would stretch over time but too painful to even wear short term. Very disappointed considering the money spent.

I really wanted to love these! I am a true 8 in just about everything including other Reef sandals, so that’s what I ordered. They fit ok in length but the straps (as you can see) are SUPER tight on my average sized feet. I have had them for several months and have been wearing them around the house hoping they will stretch out and break in but they never did. I even soaked them and wore them wet! Too late to return so they are going into the donation box in hopes of someone else finding them to be a better fit. 🙁

Edited review: 4 months later and they already broke! I have been wearing Reef sandals/flip-flops for over 25 years and this is the first pair that has failed! All other Reef flip-flops I’ve worn have lasted at least 3 years. Needless to say, I’m VERY disappointed. Thank goodness they broke while I was home, otherwise I would have been mad as heck!
Original review: I usually wear size 8.5 so I sized up to 9 in these and they fit just right. I have narrow feet and they were a tiny bit on the snug side but it only took a few hours of wear to break in and now they are perfect! The silver and black pattern is awesome and the thickness of the sole is right on the money. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.

I’m used to Reef being really comfortable which is why I bought them. Flip flops can often look nice but be too uncomfortable to wear very long. Unfortunately, no matter how lovely these look, they don’t match up to Reefs usual comfort and I had to go straight back to a pair i’d bought from Sainburys which don’t look as good, but boy do they feel better on my feet! What’s going on Reef?? I bought for style AND comfort, and got sore feet.

I’ve worn this “Cushion” style Reef for years; its extra thickness feels soft but firm underfoot. They’re a must have for FL summers – for everything from sun up to sun down. It’s hard to get back into shoes when the Fall comes around. Reef has evolved into many new and alternate styles – along with higher prices – and this particular “Cushion” Reef is harder to find. I bought two pairs and spent just about what I normally would have on one pair!! Great price and the usual great shipping from Prime. Very happy feet.
