The blueberry color is beautiful! Perfect for the baby blanket I am making. The ombre tone creates pretty uniform stripes which is great to spruce up a project for an amateur knitter like me who doesn’t actually know how to make stripes!

Very soft yarn! It gets a little fuzzy but that might be because I’m crocheting with a bamboo hook?

Too thin and flimsy. Has no body. Not like Lion Brand baby yarn used to be. Doesnt hold its shape. Wouldnt be good for sweater. I am making Preemie hats with it and they are so flimsy. Had to rewind the ball before I could use. Glad I only bought on skein to test before ordering more for a baby blanket. Not happy

Poorly wound by manufacturer. It completely unravels all the time into a knot as you knit. You spend more time ‘unknotting ‘ than knitting. Will not buy again or recommend .

There were areas of the yarn that were different thickness. The yarn would be so thin in other areas it literally pulled apart on crochet hook. Disappointed and could not use.

The yarn was extremely thin in areas and difficult to work with. Very difficult to create an even pattern. Also, it became a tangled mess and had to be thrown out. Colors were beautiful and would have been a perfect blanket for a baby boy if the yarn was not defective.

This is the third batch of Lion Brand Ice Cream yarn I have purchased in the last three months all from different sellers and in different colours. The first two batches were lovely, soft yarn, very nice to work into a baby blanket and were delivered quickly. This third batch is not the same, the colour is nice but the yarn is thinner, no softer than any ordinary DK yarn and does not make up as quickly as the previous batches, I also found knots where lengths of yarn had been joined, just poor quality yarn really. Also the delivery time on this last batch was lengthy, I will not be ordering again.

Love using Ice cream yarn for baby afghans for my newborn grandchildren, as it is so very soft and the cost is perfect for my budget. This is such a soft blue color and the yarn is good quality.
