This is a nice little saw. It cuts through branches quite quickly and if you let it spin up to speed before touching the branch it works great. I had problems of it bouncing if I didn’t let the blade spin up first. Also right out of the box it through the blade, but after tightening the blade with the set screw that quit. The detent pin does not work all that well and you will have to tighten the screw to keep the attachment from turning. With the 6AH battery i got about 90 minutes of cutting done and still had battery left. I wish that it and the chainsaw used the same blade, I plan on getting the chainsaw I just wish they both used the same blade.

The saw did a great job. It’s incredibly handy to be cut brush without all the bending that would be required from a traditional saw. Surprisingly, it handled an 8″ tree with little difficulty. Having said that, the torque from startup would cause the shaft to rotate. The pin, set in the shaft did not prevent it from rotating. There is a tightening knob, adjacent to the pin, but that could not be tightened enough to prevent the rotation. It cut great when it was working, but I spent too much time trying to re-align the shaft. Very irritating.
