I purchased this to use on our first floor which has one 10X10 short pile area rug in the den, the edges outside of the area rug are hardwood. The other rooms and hallway have either hardwood or stick down tile squares. We have 3 large dogs-that shed- and 2 cats. Pros-large dirt cup and headlamp, both of which were on this model. Does a decent job on the area rug. Beater bar speed control on the handle. Cons-Does not pick up dog hair well on the hardwood or tile squares. I am left with dog hair still on the floor even with the beater bar set on low. Side suction not that good. Difficult to maneuver even with the swivel head. Position of the cord on the unit is near the bottom so have to hold it in my hand with the handle to keep it from getting run over constantly.

Bought for the wife. We have a Dyson, and it was too hard to push in the carpet. Surprised her with it. She wouldn’t of bought a lift off. But when i watched her use the other one. It would tip over and she struggled with it. Picked Bissel because we have a wet mop, and it has been positive purchase. It has good suction and with the control you can pick how much you want. The lift off is way better than fighting the hose hanging onto the vacuum. Unit is light. She likes having the attachments on the unit. Been a great purchase, very pleased. Good suction, easy to push. Assembles easy, dumps clean. Good unit over all.

I bought this for a second vacuum. I was disappointed that the suction is low. It doesn’t pick up dirt and hair along the baseboards. The cord comes from the bottom of the vacuum and gets in the way. I kept stepping on it. I used a cord tie to attach it to the wand. Does not lift to go from floor to rug or carpet to rugs. I have to stop and pick the vacuum up and move on the rug. I love that all of the attachments are on the vacuum. The lights are good for seeing under furniture. The liftoff feature makes it easier to clean the stairs. I also have a Bissell model 1646. It has great suction, side to side cleaning. If I could take the best from both I’d have a awesome vacuum. I wish I had looked at the reviews before buying.

1 dog and 2 cats that drop hair and everything they can find in to the house, plus we live in the wonderful, great NW of Washington state, full of pine and fir trees. NEEDLES galore! This machine picked it all up. Though I had just vacuumed with my old machine 4 days before, I was amazed about how much more there was. Happy Camper

Thought my old vacuum was doing a good job. Once I got the MultiCLean Allergen Lift-Off I was truly surprise. It did a great job, couldn’t believe all the sand and pet hair was getting sucked up. Also I love the ability to pull the vacuum apart and clean all the dust and dirt out.

So impressed!! Had a Shark animal and Dyson before that. This is doing a better job than both of them!! Lightweight, no useless extra parts. Long cord. Great suction! If I could just get my rescue, Petey to stop trying to attack it ❤️

So far I have used this vacuum on our carpet bedrooms, linoleum living, the couch, and the stairs. Our last vacuum we had for many years and it just was not doing a good job any more at all. One run through with this vacuum in the bedroom alone and the entire chamber was filled with hair, dust, and everything else the old vacuum had been missing for a while. I love the lift off function. It made doing my carpet stairs so much easier than anything I have tried so far. They also filled the chamber after one sweep. The lift off brush did get some hair wrapped on it but the main base brush did not so far and I have very long thick hair and both did better than I had expected. My carpets literally look less matted, fluffier, and cleaner after using this vacuum.

I was sad to hear my 15+ year old Lift-Off vacuum dying a slow death because I loved it so much. I am happy to report I love my new Lift-Off even more! It is lighter, quieter, maneuvers better (swivel!) and is picking up way more dirt and cat hair. Thank you for continuing to make your products better and for your focus on the lives of our beloved furry family members.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off Pet today and am very impressed. I have two dogs and two cats that shed like crazy. This vacuum picked up hair and dirt that I didn’t know were still trapped in my carpet and on my floors. I just vacuumed yesterday with my other vacuum and thought my carpets were cleaner than what they were. It is awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have oak floors, a white couch, plus a very thick Persian rug in the living area. And two dogs! I needed a vacuum to handle it all. This one does. The price was right, it has strong suction, a long cord, plus the tools stow right on the unit. The turbo pet tool REALLY gets up the hair! I traveled for 7 weeks over the summer with both pups riding and sleeping in the ‘hammock’ in the back seat of my truck. There was a TON of hair after my trip, but the pet hair attachment got it all. The two things that could improve: Using the lift-off part with the hose is a little awkward; it wants to pull the whole vacuum over if you aren’t careful. And the edge tool should have a way to retract and LOCK the brush out of the way. Otherwise, I’m very happy with this vacuum.
