You can never go wrong with Offray ribbon, and this gorgeous scarlet/red satin ribbon is no exception. It’s the perfect size for my card making, and the red color is one I use a lot. The double face satin finish makes bow making a snap — you don’t have to worry if the ribbon twists in the process since both sides look identical.
Fifty yards may seem like a lot, but the price is great, and I do use a lot of it, so it’s super economical for me. You’d pay a LOT more per yard at a crafts store (I’ve seen similar ribbon sold on a 3 yd spool for 5 dollars!). If you don’t think you can use 50 yards, see if you can find a few friends to split the cost and ribbon. You won’t find better quality anywhere else.

You can never go wrong with Offray ribbon, and this gorgeous soft yellow satin ribbon is no exception. It’s the perfect size for my card making, and the pale yellow color is one I use a lot. I make a lot of cards with a “daisy” theme — lots of yellow and white — so I go through a LOT of yellow ribbon. The double face satin finish makes bow making a snap — you don’t have to worry if the ribbon twists in the process since both sides look identical.

You can never go wrong with Offray ribbon, and this gorgeous wine satin ribbon is no exception. It’s the perfect size for my card making, and the burgundy-wine color is one I use a lot. I’ve used it in a lot of my holiday cards, along with a beautiful dark forest green. The double face satin finish makes bow making a snap — you don’t have to worry if the ribbon twists in the process since both sides look identical.

I seem to be making a lot of cards these days from papers that feature brown, either as the predominant color or as an accent. (Is brown the new black as a neutral?) Anyway, I had ivory ribbon, cream ribbon, but no brown.
I fixed that! Ordered the 50-yr spool of this ribbon. It’s a nice warm brown — not “espresso,” but not “latte” either. It works with most of my papers, and because it’s double face, making bows is no problem.
I’m always happy with Offray quality, and this is no exception. Very happy with this!

Good value ribbon! Used for my wedding invites and it did the trick. I purchased a different brand and needed more – they were sold out. This was a comparable ribbon in color and quality. Slightly less soft and fabric-y than the other brand but no wrinkles and all one piece of ribbon on the spool.

This was a great satin ribbon true to the colour of dusty blue. For 50 yards, this is an excellent deal!!

Ordered for Christmas. Seems like very nice ribbon and will work for wrapping just fine. However, the picture (here and on all the other sizes of “Sherry”) shows a rich, dark true red and the one I received is definitely more of a wine red. Reads as definitely wine next to a standard Christmas red and under natural light, but looks a bit closer to the photo under the Christmas tree lights.
Will be fine for Christmas, just not exactly the color I hoped for based on the picture. It’s definitely what I’d call “sherry” but not an aged one!
Edit, so, after actually using a length of it, I can say the color is actually much closer to the photo than it looked on the roll, well within what you’d expect from monitor color variations. Still a bit more “wine” than “red” but perfect for an elegant, warm Christmas theme — almost what I was hoping it would be. Lovely texture, very silky, and I was able to hand stitch my trial project without any tearing. So glad I bought it and used it!
