These are divine and exactly what I was looking for! I have been searching for that perfect nude shade with a milky jelly like finish-similar to poly gel and I found it. The shade b160 is to die for. I did 3 coats on all my swatch sticks since I usually do 3 coats on my nails. They are beautiful! You need to cure these under a UV/LED light. This is thick gel-you must roll/mix well. They all build opacity but keep that transparent jelly finish. Some shades are more transparent than others such as b157 a milky white shade and b162 a clear butterscotch. b158 is a milky pink shade that’s perfect for a clean French manicure. b159 is a true dusty rose, b161 is also a butterscotch shade but more opaque than b162 which is like glass.

Smooth polish in lovely nude tones. Though I wish they’d have given a wider range of colors. Three of the lighter shades look near identical. Nevertheless, Beetles never lets me down. Pro tip gel Polish can get thick when cold so just set in a cup of warm water for a few mins should that be the case for your set.

This is my 4th set of Beetles Gel Polish and they never disappoint. The first picture is the same day I painted them and the 2nd picture is a week later. I have used this polish on both natural nails and acrylics and I do believe the polish works better on acrylics, although I am still a newbie when it comes to doing my own nails. But I have never been let down by Beetles. You have to use multiple thin coats and cure each coat for 60-120 seconds. I can’t wait to purchase my next set of Beetles Gel Polish.

The colors were beautiful! However, after being on my nails for over an hour it never dryed. I wiped it off with a dry tissue and it came off clean. Not a good product at all.

Really appreciate this nude set that I bought. I’ve been having bad experiences at nail salons and decided to take matter into my own hands like I used to. Ever since I had my two baby girls I just barely have time. But tonight I stayed up late and did it. I bought $20. Sunuv lamp and I bought the gel base and top coat same brand because warning it doesn’t come. I don’t know why I expected it to but it’s fine ordered it on Amazon and received it right away. I used A653 and wow I love the color, the shine, the consistency and it looks great. I don’t know how long it’s going to last but for my first time. It was easy, fun and beautiful.

i’ve always been told to try this brand of gel polish because i’m always spending $17 for each gel polish with this other brand. At first i didn’t want to because i was scared of the quality and how tiny the bottles are to the ones i use but I LOVE THEM ! I could never find nude gel polishes anywhere it did take 3 coats of gel but it was really easy to use and look great without a shiny top coat !

I do my own nails—have been for a couple years now. I’m no expert, but I really wish I could reply to some of these reviews. Your polish WILL chip or completely peel off if you don’t prep properly. Buff nails, use a primer, base coat, etc. I even use tips frequently since I change my nails pretty often and have zero issues. I actually gave every gel polish I own to my best friend’s preteen daughter and replaced them specifically with this brand because I love it so much! Seriously y’all, I own over 100 bottles of Beetles gel polish. It’s AMAZING. I did buy their lamp as well because my OPI lamp was too strong for this brand.
Also: jelly means it is sheer. It will not be highly pigmented and is meant to have that see-through effect. For those who say it never dries, it requires a UV light to cure. That’s the only way it will dry.
I hope some of these tips and an honest review helped anyone who was struggling with their nails!
Happy polishing!! xx

I got the On the Rocks set (blues, white and glitters) this week. I’ve bought several Beetles gel sets in the past, and they seem to be of consistent quality. This one came in the newer style “square” bottles, which wasn’t as shown in the product photo. They say they’re 7.5 ml, but they definitely look smaller than the round bottles. It’s about volume, so I guess it’s fine. The box they came in was much more compact, too.
The colors are really pretty. I was surprised by the one that appears to be a gold glitter (a455) in the product photos as it’s a multichrome topper more than a glitter. I’d describe it as a “mermaid topper” because it shifts from gold to a teal/blue. It’s really pretty, but not what I was expecting. It’s on my thumb in the image, over color a456, the lightest blue in the set.
Blues are some of my favorites, so I was happy to get a few more. They’re beautiful colors. The blue foil one makes a lovely topper (on my ring finger), but I think it will be semi-sheer unless you do maybe three or four coats. In two coats, it mostly covers. I have one coat over a456 in the photo. It’s a smooth foiled polish that isn’t highly textured once top coat is applied. It has a very slight texture, but doesn’t need buffing. I found with the lightest color, I did want three coats for full coverage. It was just very slightly sheer with two coats.
Application was smooth and they all cured well under an 84 watt lamp in 60 seconds. They’ve only been on 24 hours, but no signs of any problems, but I haven’t had any with Beetles polishes. I didn’t detect any strong smell from any of these, and I’m happy with them. I did need to give them a good shake when they arrived to make them smooth, but otherwise everything was fine.
