I recently have bought a number of Beetles Gel Polishes. I have noticed alot of peeling within 1-2 days of putting it on. I have even bought the base and top coat and use as directed. I cure it even longer than needed in the gel lamp just to be sure, but I am still getting peeling.

I swatched this gel polish set as soon as it arrived, and it has the most beautiful, vibrant colors! I did a glossy top coat and matte top coat for each. They all look great, but the mattes really stand out to me. The polishes all had great coverage. I did two coats of color for each swatch and they all covered wonderfully. A few of them took 2 cycles to fully dry in my uv/led lamp, but that’s not a big deal to me. I’ve purchased several beetles gel polish sets and this one is by far my favorite!! I cannot attest to the longevity of the polishes yet, but all my other gels from this brand typically last me well over a week, before I choose to change them (not bc of chipping). Overall, I am very pleased with this set and will be looking for more beetles gel polishes in the future.

I cured it for 60 seconds (LED lamp) before I applied a second coat and continued the work.
No chipping, very vibrant colors and smooth finish.

I can honestly say that Beetles brand is top notch! I bought their TOP COAT & FOUNDATION set a while ago and found them to work well along with the Mia Primer (link below) & the DeepDream SUN8 54W LED UV Nail Lamp (link below). I did have another lamp that I purchased that did not achieve anywhere near these results with, so I can only state how I this product worked in combination with the other products used.
Again, as stated before, initially I had another lamp that resulted in polishing peeling by day 7 on my fingernails. Then the lamp broke. I didn’t want to spend too much on a new lamp, but I had purchased quite a deal of polish at this point and didn’t want the entire “gel polish” thing to be a waste of my time and money, so I figured I’d give one last try. WOW, was that new lamp a game changer…No more excessive peeling, longer wear! The polish on my toes lasts for about 3 weeks, shine and all, and about 2 weeks for my fingernails.
At that point I figured, I should buy some brighter colors for my toes for the summer and OUT OF NO WHERE —- the compliments! I mean, while walking outside, at work, etc., even from complete strangers. The shine, the color, the pop – everything I was looking for!

I received it damaged. The white shade was not closed tightly, so it leaked. Easy clean up though.
The colors are beautiful, esp the glitter shades. 2 coats of the glitter shade is perfect! And 3 or more of the other shades to get to my liking. The 2 lighter pink shades are VERY similar, so much that I didn’t realize I accidently used the other shade until I looked closely. One is a cool tone pink, and the other a warmer pink.
My manicure usually lasts me 1 week, because I do a lot with my hands at work. Ww’ll see how kong these last.
1 week update:
I forgot to take a picture, but it didnt last as long as my other gel polishes. I usually get a little wear and tear by the 4th day in, but with this one, I was 2 days in, and already had cracking and chipping. I am on 2nd set now, and will update with pictures once it starts to chip.

I don’t really have anything negative to say about this polish. However, I will say to stay away from cuticles so it looks more professional and apply thin coats. I applied two coats of the color. Also, I used the Gellen Base Coat & PrettyDiva No Wipe Top Coat. Cured in 60 seconds. When applying gel polish you have to file the top of your nail, buff your nail, and clean it with nail cleanser before applying polish & you MUST apply thin coats between cures. That’s the only way it will last on my nails! It’s also no different than the nail salons I’ve been to in the past. Hope this helps those of you who complain about thick polish, not curing, and chipping.
