My granddaughter won’t wear normal underwear and has a sensory problem with clothes. These shorts are the first in many to pass her quality standard. Will be getting more.

My daughter is very comfortable in them. She says she can run and jump and no bother. Perfect happy.

My daughter just turned 4 years old. She normally wears a size 5 in shorts and size 6 in tops. She is roughly 43” tall and 40lbs. I followed the instructions of the other reviews and ordered one size down from her normal size in these shorts. I ordered a size 4 and as you can see from the picture they fit well. I think if you order one size down these shorts they should fit fine. Unless your kid is on the heavier side then maybe you could stick with your normal size. In the picture she is wearing the color navy shorts. I knew from the other reviews they wouldn’t be as short and fitted as some other bands of cartwheel shorts are. Please keep that in mind that these shorts aren’t as tight as biker shorts. We are fine with the way they fit. My daughter says they’re comfy. The waist band is stretchy and the shorts themself feel like a soft cotton blend. The waist band hits just right below the belly button. I just purchased these for play wear and everyday. They are the length of regular shorts. I will probably order the grey/black ones too. They are comfy and casual and easy to throw on. They are easy for toddlers to pull up and down to go to the restroom on the potty. They washed fine with very minimal shrinkage if any at all. These are great to throw on under dresses, worn alone, for sleeping, lounging, running errands, etc. My daughter especially likes to wear these to bed. She prefers these over her denim shorts for everyday. I’ve always been a fan of “Carter’s simple joys” leggings for babies and toddlers and these shorts are similar in feel to those. They hold up well. The fabric is thicker than old navy cartwheel shorts and leggings. Not to mention these simple joys shorts are on sale for a great price, which is why I’m ordering another pack of them. Hope my review was helpful to someone.

Purchased these for my daughters dance and tumbling class and to wear under dresses. She is almost 4 and wears size 5 pants. But these are HUGE!! They would have fallen off her bum as soon as she started walking. They arent tight fitting at all like you would think for a tumbling short. I’d probably size down down size or two for a better fit. I’m returning and getting a smaller size.

I wasn’t sure if these were going to fit tight like a shorter version of bike shorts so that they’d be a good under-dress garment for my girl. They do not. They’re loose. She wears them like regular shorts.
Bonus – they are easy to get on and off for young potty users.

These shorts are great under little girl’s dresses. Light weight for warm weather. Run true to size.

These do not fit like real Carter’s tumbling shorts. For starters, they run large. My daughter wears a size 9/10. I wasn’t sure an 8 would fit, but after reading the other reviews, I decided to give it a try. The waist fits, and she actually probably could have worn a 7. However, the leg openings are gigantic! I don’t know if these are made for obese children, or what, but they’re not tumbling shorts! They’re also longer than standard tumbling shorts. They’re in between the length of tumbling shorts and bicycle shorts. These could just be worn as regular old cotton shorts with the length and width of the legs. They will definitely not work under dresses, or for tumbling, for that matter! The legs would fall up and expose too much if she tried to tumble. They’re also not quite as thick as the real Carter’s brand. However, they are not see-through. (I bought the pack of only black and gray, so I can’t speak for the lighter colors) That, and the quantity for the price (compared to real Carter’s) are the only reason I gave these 2 stars, rather than 1.

Praktische Shorts in schönen Farben. Leider fallen sie etwas klein aus. Habe dem 93 cm Zwerg nun Gr 3J gekauft und musste leider einmal retournieren.
