There’s a constant static, hissing, and humming sound when in use and when not in use. I’m attaching a short video of the sounds it makes when not in use; they were just plugged into the computer.

I wasn’t expecting to work a rave with this (Is that still a thing?) but it is a bit on the quiet side. Cranked it up full blast and did same on my PC volume but hard to get it to a sound level I like. Tried it on a tablet and same. It’s not too bad and the sound itself is nice but if you really like the sound up get something else.

Manufacturer contacted me apologizing and offering refund as well as asking me to remove review. Not going to remove review as that was my opinion of product. The one thing I will amend is that when I connected to my phone the volume did increase when at the highest volume both on my phone and on the speaker so maybe my low end sound card on my mini PC may have something to do with it. Having said that I knew when I bought it it was not likely to be a high end product based on the price. It’s nice and clear and I don’t need a refund but I maintain that if you are looking for something higher end you should look for something more expensive. If not then this is acceptable for basic use.

Decent little soundbar. I bought a cheapo Roku TV for the kids to watch while eating breakfast in the kitchen and the built in speakers were garbage. I paired this soundbar with a cheap “FITUEYES” monitor stand and it fits perfectly underneath, see picture. I’m impressed for the price.
Also worth noting, the logo on the front is just an easily removable sticker if you don’t feel like showing off the prestigious “VOTNTUT” nameplate.

I have a small USB speaker bar for my desktop but I have 3 problems with it:
1) sound quality is mediocre
2) it doesn’t have volume control on the speaker
3) it uses USB cable for both power and audio source so it makes static sound when my computer goes to sleep
The volume control was a bit annoying but the static sound whenever my computer goes to sleep was driving me nuts so I finally decided replace it with this one. I intentionally bought this speaker because:
1) it has 3mm audio jack as the audio source
2) it can be powered by USB port or can be plugged into outlet using an adapter (which is not included)
I’m very happy with this speaker because of nice volume dial control in the center. I can’t stand any speakers that have buttons as the volume control but the dial control is the way to go since it’s easier, faster, and can achieve volume precision at ease.
The speaker is 15″ long and it comes with pretty long USB cable and 3mm audio jack attached to it so I didn’t have any problem connecting to my desktop’s audio jack and USB port.
What I’m really impressed about this speaker is the sound quality. I was able to dial up the volume to the max to hear very loud volume and I was amazed that I did not hear any distortion. It was very clear and crisp sound.
It looks really nice and elegant on my desk in front of the monitor and keyboard. It’s long but slim and not deep so it doesn’t take up much space on my desk. This is such as great speaker for its price.
5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this speaker for any desktop or Mini PC, and even for laptop if you want to watch something with better sound quality and louder volume. What’s so great is that you can use this speaker with virtually any device, such as phone or iPad, as long as it has 3mm audio jack. You can even use a portal power bank to power this speaker, making it truly portable speaker on the go or even on outdoor! A great buy!

You do need to use the aux in on a pc as well, it is only usb powered. But for the price I wasn’t disappointed with the sound and the volume controls are conveniently on top

This is a very basic speaker, but it still works surprisingly well. I’m able to easily plug it into my laptop via the usb plug and right when I do, the sound tab pops up on the screen for me to adjust the volume. The sound is crisp and clear and although it doesn’t have a volume control on the speaker itself, I’m able to do adjust it from my laptop screen when I need to without issues. It’s small enough, light enough and sturdy enough that I can toss it into my laptop bag and carry it around so I have it when I need it.

When I do voice over for videos, I noticed I’m getting an echo with the previous speaker I had. That meant I had ton disconnect the speaker which was annoying and wanted to find a speaker that a physical switch.
This one has an actual volume control at the top so have this one a try and sure enough, it worked! My microphone is the Blue Yeti if anyone is curious.
Even though it’s a USB powered speaker, it has really great sounds. The bass and treble isn’t muffled and plays regular music just fine so I’m happy 👍

Sounds even better than this video. More base, deeper sound. Lovely little speaker. Exactly what was needed for my notebook, which sounded tinny.

At first, when i read everyone talking about it i didn’t want to believe it, but for such a tiny speaker works really great, you cannot ask for a 2.1 or a 5.1 speaker is just a simple 2.0 but does its job.

I needed just a barebones soundbar for the second screen while I’m playing games on the main rig and this soundbar with it’s own volume control, adjusting it on the fly, just makes it a lot better than the other more basic one I had without dedicated controls, good clear sound, ok lows, for what it is and what I’m using it for, I’m happy does the job.
