I’ve tried a few memory cards and had some serious disappointments.
    These have always worked!

It works just fine and is pretty large but I’d suggest get it when it’s on sale cuz heads up of your getting for a switch it is more so 915-920GB yes that’s a lot but just mind it really isn’t exactly 1TB you lose about 85GB immediately but yes it is pretty good

Very good for your money you don’t exactly get 1TB i got 928GB but way worth it for what you get i have over 275 switch games so this really helps alot

Glad i got this. Works great in my switch. The micro sd card is for 1tb but of course with any type of memory card it will be a lil less due to programming. Still found it to be worth the value.

Write speed is too slow for a 1TB card. best I can get is 25m/s. It take more that half a day to fill it up. I got is on sale for $127. guess I got what I paid for. I also have SanDisk 1TB Extreme I gets 85m/s that 3 times faster.

I bought this SD card at the same time I bought a PNY card of the same spec. They’re both V30, A2 cards so they are rated at 30mb/second continuous read/write, and the higher amperage spec. In any copy over a minute in length this Lexar card gets too hot to touch for more than a moment, and quickly drops to 26mb/second writes. It will do fast burst read/writes for a couple of seconds, but that’s it. I’ll probably only use this card for non important things.

Update: More testing shows that this card is very slow. Even with active peltier cooling it certainly doesn’t live up to it’s V30 rating, and seems to run at 12mb/s sustained write. It cycles up to 75mb/s, and then within seconds it will drop back to 12mb/s. Compared to a Samsung A1 V30 512mb card which can do some sustained 92mb/s transfers (albeit with active cooling) this card is quite slow.

Bought it on sale for upcoming steam deck, the performance is very inconsistent. I’m in the middle of copying over 500GB steam games to the MSD as I writing this review, the peak write speed is about 73MB/S, however it fluctuates severely between sub 10MB/S and 73MB/S, in most of the time it stays at around just 12MB/S! The estimated data transfer time is 10 HOURS! Also the card gets hot during transfer to the point can actually scald you! I am not kidding!
I bought this 1TB card because it was on sale thus 40-60 bucks cheaper than other brands and games usually don’t require fast write speed so I bite the bullet, if you have the budget and can not stand such slow write speed might as well look elsewhere.

I got this because it was a bit cheaper but specifically for my Nintendo Switch. Works great! No Regrets here!

Just received this card from Amazon. While I was waiting for my order I watched couple YouTube reviews for the Lexar 1TB cards and the reviewers mentioned that the card has pretty slow writes.

I actually bought two 1TB cards: Lexar and PNY, to be able to compare the performance. I got them both today in the mail and ran several benchmarks using my tablet.

Looking at the results I understand now why Lexar never mentioner read speeds on the packaging but only advertising read speeds. Because Lexar write speeds are slow: in my tests around 30MB/s. For the read speed I was getting something around 70MB/s. I ran multiple tests back to back and the Lexar card showed less stable results. Sometimes the speeds went down very low. Therefore I can confirm that this card is good as a storage for taking photos or not 4K videos on your smartphone/tablet or Nintendo Switch storage (which is main marketing target for the Lexar card anyway).

If you need a 1TB card for the 4k action camera or 360 camera: look elsewhere.

my 1TB stays reasonably cool when writing data. if yours gets really hot it could be a fake. got mine for 130$ only. these 1TB cards used to be over 400$ a few years ago. mine is over half full with music and working good so far. although write speed is usually only 20MB/s

Stay away from Seller kellysufang who sells
1tb lexar sd cards from China. After running several tests I uncovered it is a cheap and slow 64gb sd card. Proof added in pictures.

Bought this specifically for the Switch, as it’s marketed as being compatible. This product came highly recommended, but upon inserting it into my Switch I get the message that the card isn’t recognized. Highly disappointed as the Switch already has paltry storage, and my Nintendo branded SD card has already filled up, so I need a larger option like this, but it seems like this is no good for me, either.
