We purchased for our master bathroom. After following the instructions on how to correctly mount the holder (be prepared to measure and remeasure as the “template” is not accurate) the holder was installed. For the 1st month the holder worked correctly, then the arm that holds the paper stopped connecting with the bracket. The weight of the toilet paper would cause the arm to swing down, dumping the paper on the floor. We figured out tightening the screw that holds the arm helps. After six months of constantly having to tighten the screw to keep our paper from rolling across the room we gave up and purchased a different type of holder. So looks great but sucks in the keeping your paper where it should be department.

I really like the look of it and the ease of changing rolls. It unfortunately was not the same width as my previous tp holder so now must rethink strategy for the other bathrooms where they are attached to the countertop. Luckily I only purchased one that was attached to the wall – it’s ugly, no doubt, but nothing a little patch and paint job can’t easily fix. I just always thought all tp holders were standard width lol please learn from me and measure the dimensions in case you want to avoid patch and paint like I now must do. It’s sturdy and heavy weighted so not cheap and flimsy.

‘Moen BH3808CH Genta Double Post Modern Pivoting Toilet Paper Holder, Chrome’: It’s practically impossible to align but I menage to install it alone – though a second pair of hands would be helpful. I put 1″ ID silicone tube over the horizontal part – I cut tube open by scissors into 45 degrees spiral and fixed gaps by 10 mm wide transparent scotch tape (this way it could go through bigger diameter on the edge),- so paper roll could rotate over round tube and not over rectangular part with sharp scratching paper metal edges, and also paper roll avoid from wobbling and jerking-twitching – so paper goes smoothly. I didn’t use any package’s screws and plastic accessories because I’ve to mount this holder on 10 mm thick wooden window-frame – so I used my own 4 x machine screws #10 x 3/8″. Two times the very small set-screw fell on the floor and I was unexpectedly lucky to find it both times. I would prefer some bigger screws could hold that TP holder on place – to not be lost with almost no possibility to replace them with other standard screws. I also prefer stainless steel instead of softer cast zinc alloy. – Kind of ‘Look of luxury is deceptive’ and really means cheap quality. Advantage is that in this TP holder I could put bigger roll.

This looked great in our new bathroom. We used everything from the Genta line except the sink faucets. The towel bars were a bit of a let down. They felt cheap when installed per instructions, but I was able to make them feel more solid with a little Gorilla Glue. The toilet paper holder is very solid. The only issue I had was even with the mounting template I still had to make some adjustments on the mount to get it to line up perfectly. I’m very happy with the end result and it is great way to make changing a roll easy. It also stands off the wall enough for the mega rolls we buy. Overall, this is more than I ever thought I’d spend on a toilet paper holder, but feel I got my money’s worth.

Once installed this is hands down the best design ever for such a product. Crazy price is forgiven just because I like the design so much.

We repainted our bathroom and refreshed the fixtures recently. This was easy to install and looks great so far. The only complaint that I have is that since the bar is rectangular, the toilet paper roll doesn’t turn completely smoothly and makes a little bit of noise. It’s not a deal breaker, but something I didn’t think about when purchasing.
We’ll have to see how this holds up in the long run, but a definite improvement over what we had previously.

The metal posts are decent. The included wall anchors are the cheapo kind that pull out of the wall after a couple months of use (butterfly anchors are the only solution that truly works with wall-mounted fixtures like these). The pivot bolt was too tight, compared to a similar moen product I have in another bathroom, it the bolt broke when I tried to back it off a little. I bought a replacement unit at my local store and it was just as tight so I installed it as is and will see how it goes.

Does it fit Mega Roll??? That is what most people want to know. I was tired of larger rolls not fitting on my standard TP dispenser. Just mounted this on the wall today. YES, the answer is Yes it does fit the mega roll. Comfortably with a little room to spare. This was my main concern. Looks nice, easy to install, easy to change roll. Not sure about long term wear but seems like it should do great. Pictures shown are with new / full mega roll on dispenser.

I like the chrome on this dispenser. It is well build, easy to install with all the necessary documentation.
The screws to fix it to the wall are included. Nothing is missing.

 I was replacing an old silver TP holder that literally fell off; I probably could’ve just fixed it, but it was dated and ugly anyway, so I was kind of excited to replace it. I wanted something matte black, somewhat industrial-looking, and two-sided (because the toilet paper ALWAYS rolls off those single-stem holders and I don’t want to live with that annoyance in my home). I love the new pivoting design, too—there’s no separate thing to spring apart or fall while you’re trying to replace a roll!
There are these crazy drywall anchor things that the instructions seemed to depend on, but I was installing into the old holes from the old holder in the side of my vanity, which is wood. Trying to shove those anchors through felt like I was going to ruin everything, sooo I pretty quickly abandoned them. I simply installed the screws in the existing holes and, because toilet paper holders are a fairly standardized size, it worked fine. It feels sturdy, too!
Overall, this is a great deal, looks fantastic and functions well. Highly recommend!

Setting aside how classy the product looks (which for a toilet roll holder is saying a lot!), the installation template that comes with the product made installation a breeze. I was worried that I would be off on my measurements, but with the template, it fit like a glove.

Holds HUGE rolls of paper! This is THE greatest toilet paper holder. It is so easy to change the paper and it hold the EXTRA LARGE ROLLS without touching the wall! It is also beautiful and timeless. I have bought the entire collection (2 hand towel bar, 2 of the 24in towel bar, 2 sink faucets and shower faucet). All are wonderful. Moen makes a great product!
