Just installed it and we absolutely love it! Great shine finish and lovely style. Very easy to use and replace the toilet paper when the roll is finished.
The instructions I found confusing to follow (as I don’t DIY things often or use many tools), however after watching a quick YouTube video on it, it was actually very easy to install!!

Good quality holder and all the hardware included. Easy install- but note one thing. The post bases are wider at the wall. IF you buy large roll toilet paper, you will need to add extra space between posts to accommodate it, and the instruction guide with the measuring tool does not allow for this. So if you do use the guide you will end up drilling twice and sweating bullets hoping that the base will cover the holes. (Barely, and I was lucky as heck!) See second photo to see fit. The spring cross bar part is plenty long enough to add the extra space.

Highly recommended for multiple reasons.
-Fits a mega roll
-Easy Installation
-Great look
-Cheaper than Home Depot
-You’ll never have to crawl all over the floor looking the spring powered roll holder again!

Added this matching the rest of new bath fixtures. Has to be THE easiest toilet tissue holder! The rod simply lifts up permitting quick change. Installation is a snap.

For the price, it is a nice holder. Installation was simple enough. I bought it for a second bathroom we have in the basement. It looked similar to a more expensive Moen unit I had installed in out main bathroom not long ago. However this was less than 1/3 of the price of what I paid locally for my other one. I figured it was a deal.
Well, even though it works, and looks nice, there is a reason for the price difference. The reason is the more expensive ones are made of metal solid components. This one is all plastic. Don’t get me wrong, it is nice looking and does the job, but it is not as solid.

Really nice toilet paper holder. Love the pivot – so easy to change the toilet paper now 😉

I bought Several of these one for each of our bathroom and they have all failed miserably so much so that two are still in the package and I refuse to install them. The first one was installed by our contractor and anytime we replace the toilet paper one side falls off and has to be screwed back in. This is causing damage to the other side and creating weight where that side of the holder is falling out of the wall and creating a hole. We had to have it removed and patched. We decided to give a second want to try and the exact same thing happened I don’t recommend this product just spend money and get a nicer one these aren’t worth your time or money

WOW! DO YOU KNOW THE OLD JOKE (I GUESS IT’S A JOKE!) ABOUT MEN REFUSING TO CHANGE THE TOILET PAPER. WELL, I WAS ONE OF THOSE GUYS–UNTIL THIS! I LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT I HAVE TOLD MY BRIDE OF 51 YEARS THAT I AM NOW THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF CHANGING THE ROLL!
IN FACT I FIND MYSELF CHANGING THE ROLL NOW EVEN BEFORE THE OLD ROLL IS EMPTY!
THIS WAS INVENTED FOR HUSBANDS! WE MUST UNITE!

We bought a similar Moen paper roll holder that was twice the price. That one is solid metal and pivots perfectly into place. This one is cheap plastic and doesn’t seat well into the cradle. I guess I’d put up with it if it was a few bucks but at $26 it’s over priced.

Having read the numerous very positive reviews of this holder, I have to say I am a bit disappointed. In another bathroom I had installed the Moen Kingsley holder and liked it very much. However, this holder cost 30% less and I found the design attractive enough so I ordered this one wondering how much different could it be? Well, it’s different, and most definitely, this is a lower quality product. I’ve come to finally realize that more times than not, when a manufacturer offers two different but similar models for very different prices, usually the more expensive one is easier to install and offers a better installation. This is certainly the case here. This model installs with a very small set screw, but what makes it worse is that it’s set right next to the wall which means you can only turn it 180 degrees (a half turn), and then you have to remove the allen wrench, align it with the tiny screw again and turn it another half turn, and then do it again and again. On the Kingsley model the set screw is set back far enough from the wall to allow the allen wrench to be turned completely without having to remove it. In my opinion, the aggravation of the installation is worth the extra $15 for the Kingsley. However, besides the installation, the Kingsley is definitely a more substantial product. Where the Vale has plastic components, the Kingsley is all metal. The Kingsley has a much more substantial feel to it (especially the matching towel ring). Is it good enough? Yeah, it works. But if you’re asking for my opinion, spend the extra $$ for the Kingsley model. I wish I had.

I read the instructions, which were bad, and then I Googled how to install. The videos I watched, noted the ease of installation. Well, not so much. The instructions had a template to use for screw placement. The template is wrong. After installing both brackets, the distance was too short. After measuring with a tape measure and marking accordingly, I redrilled bracket holes. After stripping one of the screws, I finally had the brackets in place and tested the arm. It was correct. I then had to adjust the very very very tiny screw to tighten the handle to the brackets. One was located on the top of the handle, the other on the bottom. The top took over 45 minutes because I did not want to strip that piece I had no replacement for. The second one was the worst. I had to configure my body between the bowl and vanity to be able to do this. I kid you not when I say I was about to throw the entire thing out. Tightening this last piece was difficult to get in straight, stay straight while using the allen wrench supplied. With no magnitization to hold this tiny tiny screw, it fell to the floor so many times I needed to put a dark covered towel on the ground to find it! Finally, success, it works, looks great, but I would never buy this again.

The picture they use for this product is very misleading. As others have noted it looks very dark, but in reality it is a standard brushed nickel finish. I hope the pictures I took give a better example.
Installation was just like any other bathroom hardware. It comes with a paper template for positioning screw holes and makes mounting easy. The drywall anchors it comes with are the good sturdy kind and after the installation, it feels very sturdy in the wall.
I put three of these in; two into walls and the third into the side of the vanity. It worked equally well in drywall or wood.

Make sure when you install this thing, test it out by putting a roll on it and then rotating. I made the mistake of positioning it too high and when I rotated it up, it hit the counter and I could not slide a roll on. I had to drill more holes and lower it. The product is a nice finish, rotates easily, set’s in place firmly. The screws it comes with seem way too long to go into most MDF vanities. Instructions come with a useful tracing thing that helps you level it and drill the holes exactly where needed, BUT… BE CAREFUL because the instructions come with a tracing thing for this product AND a towel bar. If you use accidentally use the towel bar one, you will probably drill holes in the wrong place.
