So far so good. Ordered this on Tuesday and it was delivered on Thursday. Installed today (Saturday) and so far so good. Only issue I’m seeing out of the box is that I can’t change the ambient light color of the spot light although I’m guessing a firmware update will address this. Picture is great and it definitely has a nice wide view even before being able to track people. Time will tell how it holds up. I have several other eufy cameras and they work well for my intended purposes.

Update: So I’ve now had this camera installed for about 10 days. The issue I reported initially about not being able to change the temp of the flood lights was fixed a couple days after I installed the camera (the floodlights work great by the way – very bright and adjustable). After spending some more time with this camera, I noted that it wasn’t consistently catching and tracking cars or people coming up my driveway despite it being set to capture all motion. I adjusted settings repeatedly, but couldn’t get it to pick up the obvious motion right in front of the camera. It was picking up my neighbors driving out of their driveway, but not motion right in front of my garage where it is installed. I called Eufy support and then sent an email along with some footage for their reference. A few days later, I noted a new firmware update had been installed so I decided to see if there was any improvement and I’m happy to say my issues have been resolved. It picks up all motion right in front of it as well as well into my yard and down at the end of my long driveway as is my intention. It works exactly as I was hoping it would. My take home is that I expected there to be some issues as it is a brand new product… and there were…. and I expected them to fix them… and to date, they have. They really do have responsive tech support which is great. My 5 star review stands at this point as I would buy again in a heartbeat as it serves my purpose. I’m also considering purchasing another for my backyard and will likely do that as well. The only things I can think of that would make this perfect for me is if it had larger on board storage or let the customer add their own microSD card (expand it to at least handle 256GB) and it could record 24/7 like the indoor cams and their wired outdoor C22 and C24 cams. It does offer cloud storage as well as NAS support so those could be options to explore as well. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

First off I wanna say I really enjoy Eufy products, I made the switch to Eufy about a year ago when my sky bell (video doorbell) died and I never looked back. When they announced this floodlight I was excited, PTZ cameras have never been cheap if you wanted features, so naturally I was curious how this would turn out.

First impressions, very solid build and a tad heavy but clearly well built. in the box it come with mounting hardware and very clear instructions. NOTE IT MUST BE HARD WIRED TO 110v POWER LINE. no battery or plug in. Installing it is simple but can be dangerous and should only be preformed by a knowledgeable person.

It can be mounted on the soffit or against the wall on an approved outlet box, I chose to put it above my garage where a flood light already existed. on the back there is a sync button you press and your app can identify it and it is a very simple setup. It added to my group of cameras on my app very quickly and updated within 5 minutes.

Pros
1. Has an amazing picture and it is very clear during the day and at night just like the doorbells
2. The ability to pan tilt and zoom on a $300 camera is quite impressive.
3. the lights are very bright and illuminate my very dark yard at night ( see pictures)
4. It tracks and records people walking by and on the property ( distance can be adjusted for shorter distance)
5. Amazing app and sends push notifications very quickly
6. connects very fast ( providing you have good wifi coverage in your home)
7. The mic on this camera is amazing it picks up people walking by talking on the phone, its almost to good.

Cons so far ( some could be corrected by software updates)
1. if I’m doing work in my yard or working on the car it sends 10 notifications a min and follows me all over the yard. ( facial recognition could help to prevent this)
2. the wall mount style leaves a ledge on the top of the camera that birds could nest on ( cover piece in future orders could mitigate this)
3. app crashed a few times since use ( could be a software glitch that can be fixed)
4. PTZ move speed is a tad bit delayed and you find yourself over correcting to get the camera where you want it.

I think a lot of these cons will be corrected over time and would say by no means should deter you from this product. I will update as time goes on, and as features get fixed and added. I would recommend this and do not regret adding it to my collection of Eufy products.
