It fits just fine in my ceramic sink drain. It’s nice and low profile so almost everything gets washed into it. Be careful with the little heart shaped handle because the edge is quite sharp. It’s obviously just stamped out of a piece of metal with no regard to how sharp the edge will be when it’s installed. But, seriously, what are you really expecting for under three bucks? I had to take a little file and wear down the edge a bit. After that it was no big deal at all. Went through the dishwasher with zero problems and no rust.

Does a good job straining but little hearts have very sharp edges and have have cut finger several times while cleaning.

The catcher is great. It collects “stuff” while still allows water to strain through. This is what I was waiting for when I wash dishes. I was surprised at how much stuff was being missed by my old strainer. Less stuff going down the drain will change the frequency of calling a plumber out to clear the drain. The catcher tab stays flat. It allows objects to slide over the basket. The tab stays flat. The tab is easy to pick up and tap out the stuff. Sometimes I wipe it out with a paper towel.

I ordered two and these little guys are perfect! The snug fit mean nothing gets by and even shooting a stream of water will not dislodge them. And the cute little heart that is the handle to pull the strainer out for cleaning is a great idea and I smile every time I use it. Also, the quality and workmanship is above and beyond what I expected. NO, I am not a stockholder or employee, just a satisfied customer, and you will be too.

Got pretty much what I expected. It’s a good product and the price was reasonable. I wish It had a slightly larger outside diameter, but, it works with my sink drain. In my view, the stainless steel strainer, with it’s flatter, smoother surface, is easier to keep clean than the wire screen strainers. Both types has their pros and cons. This one works for my needs. Thanks, guys.

I’ve used more sink strainers than I care to remember. They’ve pretty much all been flimsy, and cheap, including the expensive ones! But, THIS SINK STRAINER is fantastic. It is sturdy, as in die cut metal and not a weak screen. It has a cute heart shaped tab that makes it really easy to pull it up and out of the drain. The rim is well made and seems to be strong enough to hold the metal mesh, as opposed to the cheap ones that don’t hold the screen to the edges which causes sharp pieces of the screen to prick a person when removing it from the drain. I LOVE this thing, and plan to buy several before the price goes up!

The strainer fits perfectly over our garbage disposal and stops rice dead in its tracks. We bought this to help prevent clogged drains, and rice is a major culprit. It acts like a glue and slowly causes clogging over time which cost us plumber wise. We’re hoping this strainer extends the time until we need to call one again. In the photo I shared the strainer is shiny, but the disposal ring is showing its age.

The only problem is they don’t hold a lot of scrap and the scrap seems to stick to it. It is easy to lift out of the drain. Another thing is that it should be 1/4″ in diameter because if there is too much water in the sink, it kind of knocks it around and a little opening can get stuff down the drain. My sick is a normal drain size. So it is definitely something they can improve. Cute though, have to empty often and seems to stick. I bang it on the side of the garbage can a lot to get the stuff off. Just to let you know.
