Fabulous down sleeping bag. Not for the tall, max 5.5 inches, but super lightweight and warm. Love the outside pocket to keep valuables from getting lost in the tent.

Testing this sleeping bag as a free product from the Amazon Vine program.
Marmot makes great gear, unfortunately at a price, so I think this $200+ sleeping bag may not be for everyone.
This bag is rated to 30 Degrees Fahrenheit for “Comfort” is based on a standard formula (outlined below)
Many sleeping bags are rated for temperature by an independent testing protocol. With both European Norm (EN) 13537 and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 23537 testing, each bag gets a Comfort (or T-Comfort) rating and Lower (or T-Limit) rating. The Comfort/T-Comfort rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep the average “cold sleeper” comfortable, and the Lower/T-Limit rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep the average “warm sleeper” comfortable. Ratings are based on a person wearing one long underwear layer and a hat, sleeping on a single 1 in. thick insulating pad.
A big plus on this bag is comfort and warmth without sacrificing weight, at under 3lbs for this regular size as tested (up to 5’6” specifically for a female).
Designed to minimize moisture but stay water resistant, it’s a very comfortable if snug fitting bag, probably not as comfortable for plus sizes.
Aimed at spring and fall camping where morning and evening temperatures will get down low, it provides a good lightweight and warm sleep experience.
Polyester 650 fill power (which measures the fluffiness of the filling) weighing 28 ounces means that this bag is very compressible for storage and backpacking without sacrificing warmth.
Fits Up To (in.) 66 inches
    Shoulder Girth (in.) 58 inches
    Hip Girth (in.) 58 inches
    Stuff Sack Size 7.5 x 16 inches
    Stuff Sack Volume 10 liters
    Compressed Volume 9.2 liters
I rated it at four stars overall for a very nice bag, but somewhat high priced in my opinion. You can shop around, but you’re unlikely to find this under $200

This sleeping bag says that it goes to 30 degrees. That was not the case for me when I took it camping. Lows where maybe 40 degrees in coastal weather. Woke up in the middle of the night freezing my buns off! Sent the sleeping bag back, not worth the money. The bag was thin and did not insulate very well.

There is a reason why the Marmot brand is synonymous with quality- they make excellent products. This sleeping bag is not only super-comfy and ultra-portable, but it’s also attractive and chock-a-block falloff useful functionalities. Although the bag itself comes in a huge package, it can be squished down into a reasonably-sized, light-weight carrying bag which fits nicely into both a framed and non-framed backpack. Don’t let its lack of weight fool you – Marmot in no way sacrificed warmth to portability. This has kept me warm on several nights during outdoor camping in our backyard when the temperatures were in the low 20 degrees F.

Things I love about this: cell phone pocket, ease of folding up into its smallest size (something I struggle with ordinarily), and warmth.

This sleeping bag has tremendous value for its cost. Highly recommended.

Always keeps me warm while camping. The zipper does tend to get caught in the fabric, which is annoying in the dark. Still, it’s tall enough for me (5’10”) and is lightweight to carry. Love it!

Comfortable, very light weight and compressible. I tested it at 5 degrees Celsius and it was perfect. Not full length zipper though, even if it’s written in the description. I had an unbeatable price for a down sleeping bag at 73$ cdn.

Marmot is a top name in outdoor & sporting products. This Marmot Lozen down sleeping bag is well-made, is fluffy when laid out for use, compacts down for storage in a net bag and becomes much smaller for transport.

It is designed for warm comfort up to 30-degree F weather but will keep you warmest if temps are above this threshold. The Lozen is a lighter version of down sleeping bag suited for milder temps.

One nice feature is that the down has been treated with “down defender waterproof treatment.” When regular down gets wet, it loses its ability to hold in heat. With the down defender treatment, the down becomes moisture-resistant, resists clumping & holds loft to keep you warm. I did not get mine wet to test out the down defender treatment.

The sleeping bag is mummy style with a female-specific design that provides extra insulation at the footbox and waist & accommodates women up to 5’ 6” tall. The mummy style hood design will keep your head warmer by limiting heat loss. The footbox area allows for more wiggle room which means less heat buildup. The side seams are at ground level and wrap around your body to maximize warmth. Structure includes stretch tricot baffles to prevent insulation from shifting.

There is an internal stash pocket to keep small gear like your wallet, cell phone, tissues, etc. accessible. There is also a stuff sack to stow your stuff when using the sleeping bag and then stuffing the bag itself into when you are transporting the sleeping bag. There is a full-length two-way zipper that slides easily. This is a well-designed & crafted sleeping bag with comfort & convenience engineered into its features.
