The Good:
I’m impressed that Amazon used some quality materials in this hoodie.
The zippers are YKK–good, sturdy double zippers. People complain it’s hard to use but it literally works like any other zipper. They’re just incompetent lol. It makes the hoodie unique and more stylish. A lot of popular brands and retailers actually would skimp out on this feature and i wish they wouldn’t! it’s a great feature to have!
The fleece material is a medium-light weight that is very good for year round usage.
The hoodie string has metal aglets with a good weight to them. Again, good attention to details.
The Bad:
While Amazon sourced some good quality materials, the craftsmanship and cut of this hoodie leave much room for improvement.
The hood is a bit oversized and pointy since the seam runs straight down the middle.
The stitching– i’ve found bunched up stitching along the seams in the cuffs and hem, as well as some loose ends along the neckline.
The fit/ length– I bought XS since i’m skinny at 5’5/ 125lbs and it fits way too long 27″, covering my butt. Chest/ sleeve is a bit roomy but i don’t mind it. the fit is somewhat slim.
Overall, I would not recommend this product at this time. Proportions are awkward.

This hoodie is very nice overall. Nice weighted fabric and color, good stitching and big enough hood. My hang up for this hoodie is the zipper. The zipper is a double direction, which allows you to unzip from the bottom up while the upper zipper is stilled in place. This makes it difficult when you first put the hoodie on and start to zip like you would every other jacket. In my opinion, a totally useless feature and kept me from ordering a larger size like I needed.

It’s heavy weight so definitely for fall/winter. Put together well (good zipper and stitching). Washes well so should last.

I purchased two of these Amazon Brand – Goodthreads Men’s Fullzip Fleece Hoodies in the same colour.
I was positive that the sizing would be correct as I already have a few Amazon Goodthreads hoodies without zips.
How wrong I was. I normally order a Large.
These zip hoodies were advertised in the size of 41-43. ( which should be large.)
The label on the hoodie says L.
They are both bigger than the non-zipped goodthreads hoodies (in large) I already own.
Maybe these zipped hoodies are an American size large?
Regardless, the difference in size between these two large size (41-43) zipped hoodies is ridiculous.
One is a touch bigger than standard UK Large.
The other one is the size of a UK Bus.
Maybe it was labeled incorrectly?
Maybe they are all different?
This could explain why they are the price of around a tenner each. ( at time of writing.)
The prices on all the Goodthreads hoodies go up and down like a yo-yo. Sometimes daily.
Why have I given 3 stars?
Well, because out of the two one was fine for lounging about in.
Due to the current virus restrictions, it would have been difficult to return the HUGE one of the two.
After an hour and a half of messaging customer service (due to this and a few other issues I have had with Amazon’s not so good service of late) I was eventually offered a refund on the HUGE one from Amazon.
It makes me wonder if most of the reviews for these items are actually from Amazon.com in America.
On the hoodie which was ok for me, the sleeves were not short as others have said.

Every other thing Ive ever purchased that is a XXXL tall fits like a XXXL tall, but not this hoodie. The quality is good it’s a nice warm fleece hoodie. But on what planet did amazon get measurements? This is a xxl at best and it is certainly not a tall. I’m wearing a 3XLT tee shirt under it and it’s hanging a good 2 inches below the hoodie. Nice material, inaccurate sizing.

Bought as a gift for my husband. Our little boy has a very similar one and my husband wanted to match. He opened it on Christmas Day and hasn’t taken it off since! Haha Very happy with the quality, size and design

First of all the size I ordered was XL Tall and I am 6’5″ and I weight approximately 270 lbs. I am slightly overweight but just generally a very large person in the upper body. My torso is unsually long as are my arms.
Now for the review: I got this delivered to me yesterday and I must say that I am quite impressed. There is zero new fabric smell. The hood has a double layer of fabric which makes it very warm and the overal quality appears to be very nice.
Other reviewers have mentioned the double zipper but I find you simply have to be slightly more firm with it compared to a normal zipper due to the longer female side and the slightly over-designed curve in the male end (which I believe is intended to help with indexing into the female end). It is really not that big a deal if you are not very finicky.
My last hoodie that I wore on every slightly chilly day for the last 3.5 years was an XL Volcolm single stone and despite the fact that this Goodthreads hoodie is approximately half the cost they have very similar thcknesses of material and overall seam craftsmanship. In fact the Goodthreads hoodie has doubled material at the wrists and Hood so it may in fact be of a slightly higher quality. Only time will tell on that. (I highly recommend Volcolm hoodie too.)
My only gripe would be that I ordered this in XL Long because I have an usually long torso and long arms and though the torso is in fact a bit longer than most XL sizes the arms seem to be just a bit shorter than I was expecting. Not really an issue but just short enough that I am not too impressed.
Overall this is a great deal as of the first week of purchase. I will update my review if something changes.

I’m a big fan of hoodies and they’ve been my go-to cool weather staple for years. When I first saw this hoodie, I had high hopes. It looked like exactly what I wanted. And I was almost right. I love the color. I love the fit. The material seems nice enough. However, the zipper is terrible. I’m not sure why they decided to go the double zipper route but it’s a pain to deal with. To make matters worse the two halves don’t meet up correctly so it takes an act of Congress to get this thing zipped up. I like this hoodie enough to keep it, but I won’t be buying another.

I am pleasantly surprised by the superb quality of this sweatshirt. I usually buy American Giant brand sweatshirts but was on a tighter budget for this particular hoodie. If I would have received this exact sweatshirt from AG I would not have asked any questions. I highly recommend this product for the quality alone…..but at the price it’s hard to see myself ever going back to AG. I had purchased 2 of the non-hooded sweatshirts as well, but returned them only because they were a heavier weight than I wanted. (Please Goodthreads: make a lightweight sweatshirt!!!!!!)
If you are looking for a midweight to heavyweight zip hoodie I cannot suggest a better one for the price! A lot of the reviews complained about the zipper…..perhaps because the double zipper is rare? I find that to be a detail which is indicative of the quality (like the intricate metal covers over the hood string).

I am a woman and I purchased this hoodie after loving all of the Goodthreads items that I purchased for my boyfriend. I tried the women’s version of this hoodie, but the fabric was thin and uncomfortable. I want a cozy awesome hoodie for my quarantine couture, and the medium men’s hoodie is exactly what I needed. The fabric is perfect – slightly worn in and super soft. It’s like an old hoodie that I “accidentally” ripped off from an ex (yup. It’s that good) and would never dream of giving back.
