If you’re doing pull-ups (or trying to) as part of your workout, this is an essential tool. You can adjust the amount of assist you need by either adding or subtracting bands and by adjusting thie placement of foot rest. It is awesome for those just learning how to do pull-ups and chins and allows for gradual reduction of assist as you get stronger. Also fantastic for eking out those last extra reps when you’re spent at the end of a workout. This product is well-made and well-thought out. Easy to adjust, easy to use. It’s a definite game-changer!

This was exactly what I was looking for! Quick and easy assembly, the bands can be removed or swapped out, and it snaps easily onto any standard sized bar (I use it on a removable door frame bar).
I’m 5’3″ and 115lbs with limited upper body strength. Currently, I can manage 5-7 consecutive pull-ups and with the center-band removed about 1-2 pull-ups. I’ve had this band for about a week and a half and I’m definitely getting stronger; the movement is becoming easier for me to complete.
I’m really looking forward to completing my first unassisted pull-up and I think that this will be a good tool to help get me there. Keeping myself challenged by working towards higher reps and will eventually work my way down on the resistance bands. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their level of fitness.

Great product, would buy it again.
There are a lot of reviews on this product that don’t apply, they are either reviewing the wrong thing or the product has changed significantly since the reviews were written. To that point, let me say that the Lifeline Pullup Revolution that I received is exactly like the one pictured on Amazon on this date 5/21/2016. It comes with three RED bands, an attachment hook and strap, and a stirrup. A complete item, easily assembled and installed.
I find the product works as advertised. It allows me to work out my upper back doing pull-ups with good form. I can do 1 or 2 difficult pull-ups unassisted and 8 to 10 with the bands. Seems like a great addition to my home work out, I can really feel those muscles in my back getting pumped.

Very good piece of equipment to get you started for chin ups and more I’ve been a user of this band for a long time BUT the bands can snap without any notice.

I bought a door pullup bar, and have been struggling to figure out how in the world I, with my super weak untrained female muscles, could ever use it. I’d managed to get to the point of hanging off of it, but I couldn’t manage even an inch in lifting myself. I wasn’t getting any stronger just hanging there, and even the eccentric exercises were too hard for me to do properly. Losing more weight would surely help me, but you can only go so far– based on the help I’m getting from this, I don’t think even my lowest healthy weight would have helped me enough to get a single pullup done. With the Lifeline, I can get to the top of the bar– and I can feel my muscles working (but not completely failing in the first second of the first rep), so I think that I can start making some progress now.

Perfect pull up assist. Revised!!!
My son was using this for the first time in a couple months, the three straps snapped, the bands hit him in the face and it’s broken.
Seems to be no replacement bands no solution

I ordered the Pullup Revolution because I noticed another trainer at a location I contract at using it. It looked very simple and easy to implement. I thought what a great addition for my Personal Triaing and weight loss clients at Seven Wellness and FitCamp Seattle who could benefit from doing pullups like on the assisted pullup machine. One plus is that in my outdoor bootcamps I can use this at the park on a horizontal bar or something similar. My clients love it as much as I do. I now have one at home so that my 11 year old daughter can practice her pullups and build upper body strength as a beginner in gymnastics. I’ve used similar band systems in the past that look very similar with 3 removable bands. They have proven durable and handy. I’ve only had the Pullup Revolution for 2 weeks, but it seems to be as durable.
Best wishes in your journey of health and wellness,

This is not good. My wife will keep trying, but it appears to be tough to use effectively. Would not buy.

I was a bit skeptical when buying this first. Some people say it works and some say it’s no good for a beginner. This is all BS. Any beginner can use this and they’re pull ups will improve. I was working out for a month or so before using this product. Just doing a standard workout routine. I could not do a pull up to save my life. After using this product one day a week on back/bicep day for 1-1.5 months I can now do 6 pull-ups with out the resistance band. Just make sure to use proper form when using this and you will be amazed how quickly you see results.

Love this assistance band sooooo much! I am not really “out of shape” per se but I haven’t had an exercise routine in over 2 years. I decided to start P90X3 (I had done P90X 2 years ago). At the end of my last P90X stint, I was able to do pull-ups, push-ups, etc. all by myself and it was great. When I started out, I was using the “chair method”. Upon starting P90X3, I again, was using a chair to help with doing my pull-ups but it just didn’t feel like I was getting what I should out of the exercises. Well, in the P90X3 videos, they actually have this exact band that they use to assist in the exercising so I decided to look it up on Amazon. I am soooo glad I purchased this! It is EXACTLY what I need to give me just a little bit of help to keep myself going with my pull-ups and it actually works for push ups too! Until purchasing this, I was doing “girly” push-ups on my knees. Now I use the assistance band for both pull-ups and push ups. I cannot explain how much it helps. It gives just the right amount of assistance to help me do the exercises the correct way but I am able to get a better workout and push myself harder because I’m not trying to figure out how much “assistance” to give myself with a chair or while kneeling to do push ups. It is adjustable which is nice because I can start off with a lower amount of resistance and increase it as I get fatigued. This has made all the difference in the world! My weight (was) 145 and I’m at 135 now and the resistance is perfect for me. I would recommend this to anyone that needs alittle help or just a little extra push to be able to exercise to their max capability!

This product is excellent! I wasn’t able to do a pull-up for the life of me. The first week I used it I was able to do 3-4 pull-ups. Of course the resistance is helping tremendously. The next week I worked out I was able to do 7 pull-ups. My biceps, triceps and lats were sore. So far so good. We’ll see if I’m able to do a pull-up or a few without the assistance.
