When I use this paper for my watercolor markers, they blend so smoothly. I’ve tried some of the other mixed media papers with the markers and they don’t always blend well, so I’m really happy to have found this paper.

I am totally in love with this sketchpad. It is the first Canson product I have used. My art course required a large pad for various mediums. I noticed my drawing pencils will smear but using watercolors on this paper is amazing. I just ordered more Canson pads to replace all mine. I will never go back to another paper again. Canson is higher in price but the quality is on point.

Heavy, great for mixed media, held strong with colored pencils

He spends hours drawing and tracing. You cant do this on ordinary paper nor would you want his keepsakes on cheap paper.
We’ve framed a couple of his better drawings that I want him to look back on when he’s an adult and say, look what my grandparents did for me.

I use these for my art journals and design work. The paper is heavy enough to accept glue, paint, collage items and glazes without buckling. Very versatile. Canson was recommended by a journaling teacher and I have used them ever since.

I thought this was very thin paper and did not hold Up well too wet media.

I would go for Arches hot press paper if smooth surface is needed. It’s just not quite professional feel after getting used to Arches paper for a while.
Scott –
Nice paper. Look forward to creating a disaster on each and every page.
